My prediction is if you don't dress warm you may lose body parts.
As for the game...
It should be interesting. As long as Blaze can quickly adapt to RU offense then Fisher should pound Rowan. If it becomes another Fisher v. Springfield "1" then it will be a much closer game. Either way Fisher wins.
31 - 17 (w/ Blaze)
24 - 21 (w/o Blaze)
See ya there!!

Hope to see you there!

I don't think national attention has anything to do with it. We all just get a little defensive at times... it's fading a little though.

hey, i'm just trying to piss you off...and its working. before you signed up for post patterns and jumped on the bandwagon, i actually COMPLIMENTED fisher. you can ask anyone on this message board. i say things the way i see them, i've bashed my own team on here, and you can ask anyone on here....i'm pretty fair. i defended frank because he brought up some good points. i was just saying how fisher fans weren't good at taking criticism. what is wrong with that? i've been saying all along how explosive fisher's offense is and how they have a solid defense. so i don't know where you're going with the "fisher bashing". also, i said earlier this week that they probably will beat rowan. anyone want to back me up on this??
for you to take the time to copy and paste my last 20 posts tells me and everyone else on here that you are lacking anything resembling a life. stop making your fisher faithful look bad by the shenanigans you write on here. i bring up good points on here, like to talk football, and tell it how it is. thats why i came on this site. you're just being a complete moron.
Piss me off while attcking SJF is different than taking personal cracks!
It's bee a while since I jumped on the SJF "Bandwagon" - 14 years (That's exactly how I would describe me).
By the way - it took about 30 seconds to post those 20+ comments - some idiot I must be!!

I will also add this, while the Fisher regulars that have been here all season have been really open minded, as a general rule I think Fisher fans take criticism of their team the most personally. I think it has something to do with assuming they aren't respected because they are a newcomer to national prominence. All those that have stayed (booby, superman, tags, FA91) have been levelheaded, even if they were a little short when we poked fun at the program in their early posts. That was the difference between this year's Fisher-IC week and last year's.
Alrighty Jose I'm back.
Check it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would agree with you, we (SJF) fans are a little touchy. This national attention, especially the importance of this weekends game is all new to us. Although 00 has been taking personal cracks!!
Not cool!!

gifford, dierdorf, and michaels were icons back then and the ratings were at their highest. the dennis miller experiment was a bad one. i think kornheiser is actually doing much better now. remember, he's always been a columnist and show host, never a broadcaster. i think he keeps things loose in there. suzy looks good too.

i think the springfield receivers might have better hands than jerramy stevens. how is that guy in the league? he's dropped numerous passes tonight.

19 Post Patterns / East Region football / Re: Liberty League on: Yesterday at 01:57:26 pm
yea, there's no question fisher had the most success up the middle against sc but i don't see that happening against rowan. the problem with sc's d....they are so damn predictable, their tendencies will tell you that. they rarely blitz anyone, let alone the inside lbs. they ran that trap/cutback play to robinson a good majority of the time. tags, i know robinson can turn it up a notch in the open field. he has deceiving speed but he's gonna have to turn it up a notch against rowan - those guys have wheels. fisher used to run a designed power play with their toss but i don't know how much they run it now. that could work but the actual toss sweep might hurt them this week. pass protection for kramer will be key because i don't see him having as much time as he did against a weak sc pass rush.
20 Post Patterns / East Region football / Re: Liberty League on: Yesterday at 01:20:31 pm
i'm not sucking up to frank at all tags. i've disagreed with him before and who knows, it will probably happen again. i'm just sick of the whining and "no one respects us" bs that fisher people come up with when someone makes a point against them or makes a case for rowan. that's all. both of these teams are legit. they aren't in the final 8 for nothing.
21 Post Patterns / East Region football / Re: Liberty League on: Yesterday at 12:54:53 pm
tags, get off your soapbox man. fisher posters need to take some criticism. frank has brought up some very valid points, the use of robinson being one of them. jesus christ, i'm certainly no union fan here but frank has backed up his arguments, given fisher credit where credit is due, and played devil's advocate. rowan is a true playoff tested program too, their speed is going to be NOTHING fisher has seen. his point about seeing springfield twice in a season is a LEGIT point to. don't you think they made a few small adjustments based off of the first game and studied sc's tendencies. and rowan's defense will be much better than sc's, although sc played better than i thought they would.
fisher posters need to lighten up in the LL house. don't knock someone for backing up their claims with legit points. cardinals10. frank just served you. ha!
22 Post Patterns / East Region football / Re: Empire 8 on: Yesterday at 12:23:36 pm
i mean, i posted on here maybe a month ago or so and am a full supporter of sc, but i know my football and i know more about sc than anyone on here. with that being said, i don't plan on being here in the winter months but to maybe drop a line or two to piss someone off if thats ok. i'll def be back in the fall. i enjoy the site, the good football talk, the bad football talk, and the pitter-patter between frank and the fisher fans. by the way fisher guys - you can't argue with lawyers, they are never wrong. if if you think you're right, the lawyer thinks their right. am i on point with that jose?
one thing about this game that i'll mention again: special teams. does anyone know about rowans kick game vs sjf's? i'd hate to see sjf lose on an extra point. another thing fisher guys - rowan has been in this territory before, meaning the big games. don't think for a second that this doesn't mean anything.
-devil's advocate
00 - Take a look at these latest 20+ posts you've submitted!! You go from Fisher bashing to agreeing w/ Rossi to bashing Fisher posters to comments about commentators in the NFL to ... Who's the idiot?
Geez - With Springfield out you must be on suicide watch!!! (You're their biggest fan!!)

um... unless the exchange rate takes a big swing in a short period of time, there's nothing wrong with trading US for Canadian dollars. They don't charge you to exchange, unless you are dealing with some stoner at McDonalds.
As a guy who spends alot of the summer in Canada at the 1000 Islands, RT will say that it is true that Canadian prices in touristy areas more than offset any benefit from exchange rates. Gas is expensive, booze is ridiculously expensive, any consumer items, etc...you get the point. RT thinks (hopes) the point that the earlier guy was trying to make is that the Canadian casinos kill you on the table amounts. For example, when RT was in Niagara Falls a few weeks ago, the cheapest table they had on the floor for blackjack was $25.....Dice was a little better at $15 (same on Roulette). So, in essence, the Canuck casinos are charging more by having such high minimum tables. Even though the exchange rate works both ways, RT would rather stay in the US and play $5/$10 tables and reserve the right to make big bets on a hand if he wanted to. One other observation...there's always a spread between "buying" and "selling" American currency. For example, when RT is paying with American $ in Canada, he seems to get more exchange than when he's converting Canadian into American. Plus...NEVER NEVER NEVER pay with American cash anywhere in Canada. Always use a credit card to ensure bank rate, which is always much more favorable than any bar, restaurant, or other merchant's rate....
RT -
Thanks for understanding!! Safe travels to Pittsford!

Reguladuh,
Keep your postings on such topics to yourself. Unless you know what is being discussed then you can "intelligently" chime in!!
If you had a clue ..... (and I can't believe I'm even defending this posting)
1. The canadian casino has a sports book - although as we in western NY know you are always playing w/ canadian monopoly currency. Not much fun!!
2. Casino's in NYS do not have sports books so go ahead and play with your yen, rubles or euro you won't win sh*#!!
3. I was informing RT in case he was playing tables - typically 1:1 bets - and you have to worry about exchanging rates - why give your hard earned $$$ to another country? Your choice though!!

You're headed to the canadian side, the american side (in Niagara Falls) has a casino now - Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel! Pretty nice - might want to check it out! You're not going to get hockey smashed on the crappy exchange rates!!!
I don't know what math they are teaching you cats at SJF, however, when you place a bet, whether it be in US, Canada or indonesia and you have odds on your money, you get whatever that payout is. That payback is the same wherever you are.....exchange rates don't matter.....
Unless of course a 1 million yen bet at 10:1 is worth less than a Euro bet at 10:1.
