That should be a fun time for the Former WW QB...  I'm sure he will do very well against that level of competition, (compared to D3 football outside the WIAC)  Two former Stout QB's are also over seas right now starting on their respective teams at QB.. Keldric Stokes is the starting QB for the Eidsvoll 1814's in Norway, and Tanner Kattre is the starting QB for Germany's Franken Knights..  Both of which are doing quite well.  It's great to see these kids continue their careers overseas, what a great experience!

Congrats to Beaver on giving it everything he had..  Who knows if someone goes down in GB, he is just a phone call away..  Hopefully he still can land an alternative option back for some OTA's and a full team mini camp like Englebert did last year with the Bengals.  None-the less it was an amazing career for Justin!!  For you guys that know Justin personally, what are his thoughts on the CFL?? Or was it NFL or bust for him much like it was for Englebert??

Tony Beckam from Stout ran a 4.36 and 4.33 at the NFL combine.   He was the fastest guy I have ever seen play in my 30+ years.

Congratulations to Luke Steffen (former Stout Linebacker) for signing a professional football contract yesterday with the Green Bay Blizzard, an AFL2 team.  Though Luke made headlines last year around Stout for the trouble that occured there, he truly was a genuinely great young man who was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.  My son and daughter whom were both classmates of Luke at Stout always said that he was a genuinely great young man who is definitely deserving of this opportunity!!

Until somebody can actually stop Whitewater's Offense, I doubt you will ever see any trick plays..   WW in a laugher this week 35-7..  Keep representing the WIAC like you always do!!

My judegment is not based on just one game.  I've probably seen him play 8 or 9 games the past two or three seasons, and simply am not overly impressed.   No question he is a good solid runner, but like I've said when there is a hole he gets yard just like many others.  I Haven't been blown away by his power or elusiveness.  And Goo for the record I do know you were quite the beast, so that award you got was deserving regardless of who was in the backfield.   I also sincerely hope the Hawks take it to the next level, as it would be GREAT for the toughest D3 conference in the nation.

I didn't mean to rustle your feathers Goo.  I've watched a lot of football through the years as I have had 3 kids play at the college level and one that went on to play professionally for 3 seasons in the Arena Football league.  Just simply stated, Beaver does not impress me anymore than a handful of other backs I have seen in this league.  But I do understand why you are so loyal, you did have a great collegiate career where he must have been the reason why you got such notariety last season.

Beaver had 44 carries against Stout and maybe broke 3 or 4 tackles the entire game.   I believe Moriarity and Anderson both run harder than Goo's self proclaimed "best back in the history of competitive football"   What round is he going to get drafted in this year?

Just went through the stats from the entire game and Beaver was credited for an extra 60 yard gain early in the third quarter than never happened.  So his unofficial total is 44 carries for 189 yards.  Take away the 63 yard TD along with the 24 yarder, he had 42-102...   I think if you give the ball to Coach Liepold 42 times he could probably get 102 yards also.. However, I doubt he would have broken the two longer runs.

From sitting in the Blue Seats today at the Stout vs WW game, i would def. have to say I too was quite shocked to see that Beaver had 250 yards.  He did have the long run for the TD where WW caught Stout by surprise with a quick snap where he ran untouched for the score.   I would say that 189 or 190 sounds a lot more like it.  He really did not impress me to the heights that the Warhawk gods believe he is the best rb in WIAC history.  (kind of a joke)  A consensus from my son (who plays on D-side of the ball for stout) along with a couple others is that Dan Hall from LaX is a tougher runner to bring down and also very comparable to the young man from Point.

WOW, if STOUT had a QB who could complete a deep ball they would have won yesterday by atleast 10-14 points.  Kattre missed 4 WIDE OPEN wr's running all by themselves for TD's.  Stout dominated the game, except for Oshkosh having 3 big plays. This team could suprise a few teams if they get some things straightened out on Offense

Beaver Lovers, Did you not see the games the past two years against Mt. Union?? If you did, how in the heck can you say he is better than their RB??  If Oshkosh's RB had WW's O-line and passing game he would be racking up the same amount of yards!!

To say Beaver is the second best player in the nation is hilarious!! Brady Pitz must be the third best then!!! With holes like that to run through, any "solid" back could rack up big time yardage!!

My son plays for UW-Stout, and Andy Reese has been battling a bad knee all of camp, possibly grade 2 MCL tear.. they expect him to be ready for the 1st conference game for sure!!
