I am so proud of my boys winning the ODAC. Guilford really deserved it. I feel proud to be a quaker and play with those guys in the beginning of their careers. Now as far as the gym being full. I think Guilford will have a large crowd but this weekend is the beginning of spring break for the school. So alot of the student body may not be there due to planned trips . I know one thing will be there cheering on my former teammates. Question how are the teams in the bracket? I seen GC pound Averett already this year. How are the other schools?

I have a to agree with nova. I am a former guilford college basketball player from 2002-2006. I have to say the school is very liberal and hippie at the same time. I have to say I did not enjoy it when I first got there because it was not your avg college atmosphere and the athletics were not the Big people on campus but as time went on and I seen how other schools around the area were I started to love my school for the atmosphere it had. I never regretted going to Guilford and I am glad that I chose that school and I would reccommend it to anyone loooking for a great school. GO Quakers they will win the ODAC this year. Strong is a monster. I have seen him come up from being timid to being a very dominate player.

I know I have not been on here for a while but I am back. I have seen guilford play and they are a legit team. All of you have to realize that that care starting five have been playing together for threes years now. Mr. Strong is finally realizing what he has to do for his team to win. Now I know this next four or five games will tell if this team is for real, esp. with the trip to the beach but even if they lose one of those games. The quakers will be there at the end. Go fellas from a former player who always supports his team.

Mr. D
In reference to you and youi comment. You took my comments totally wrong so to assume that the team is tighter now with your absence may be so but its not because of you leaving the team and possibily coming back next year. So just stop assuming and thinking you are a focal point. We are tighter because we just tired of the nonsense and mistakes that hurt us last year . thats why we are tighter If you yourself want to put your self with this two words then thats one you. Hope you do come back next year and do your thing you know i will be cheering for you. But for now i am concertrating on this years team. Not next year. Everyday is this world is not PROMISED.

Well as far as answering guilford questions is abbout who is going to score. Scottie how can you say guilford needs to have a stud freshman come in and step up. Did you not know guilford is returning most of the players from last year. If i am not mistaken Jamel Taylor, Eric Belkoski, Ray Edmond, Thomas Burge, and Jordan Snipes will all step their games up more and more as the season started winding down last year . burge, snipes, and edmond will step up and produce more as a trio then what kerry did. Belkoski may be undersize but a will hold his own in the post and don't think that jamel is not going to step up. It seems he is really going to get his chance to show he is better then what his career at guilford has been so far. He has showed signs of that progress late in the season but it should be a full season effort this year. As from everyone else. Also their is nothing worng with guilford. Coach Palembo did what he had to do to make this team a better unit. He will him them ready to play every night.

I feel guilford well be fine. You know Coach Palembo will have his team ready to compete every single night. Yes the lost of kerry and lawhorn might but you know everyone else will have to step up thats all. No team in the odac does not know who there leading scorer is.Remember this team led the odac in points per game last year. they will be in the mix this year. A last place finish or a seventh place finish is unacceptable.
