Well, I happened to catch the Greenville-Westminster game, and it was a good one. It was full of momentum changes with the excitement never stopping. West and Atchison seemed not to be able to miss from the three-point line. Davis dominated the paint for Westminster. Taylor for Greenville did his normal thing. Overall, I think the panthers did a solid job of keeping Westminster from taking the lead or ever gaining permanent momentum. The ability to do that is definitely something they will need going into the NCCAA tourney. Congrats out to them though and good luck.

Well, I saw the Greenville-Webster game, and it was definitely a good one. It went down to the wire. Webster had a chance to keep it closer or possibly build on some leads it had, but atrocious free-throw shooting turned out to be their killer. Greenville did not shoot particularly well from the charity stripe either, especially down the stretch. Their defense was not much to marvel at either as Hoggat dominated for a good part of the game, and three-pointers were pouring in as well. In the end though, Webster began to finally go cold from beyond the arc, and Greenville was able to hold them off for a five point victory, 85-80. Congrats to the Panthers and hope that Hoggat is okay.

That was a good theory pantherpride06, and I applaude your attempt to discover my identity. However, you are incorrect in your findings because although I am a student at Greenville College, I have never played for the basketball program. I am just very observant and enjoy stating my opinions on what I see out there on the court. Good luck to the panthers and to you with finding out whoever this person is.

Well, all I can say is that it's crunch time for the Greenville Panthers. I'm talking Do or Die. The game against Webster could have some serious implications on whether the Panthers are able to seriously keep the season alive or not. With all that said, I hope that Greenville's coach refrains from bonehead decisions that could potentially cost his team the game. As well, I would like to see less turnovers from the Panthers and more intense defense. If those three things come to light during tomorrow's game, I think the Panthers' chances of victory are as good as anybody else's.

Man, I saw the Maryville-Greenville game, and the same thing came to my mind the last time they played. Why does the Greenville coach keep finding ways to almost blow the game? Last time, he put reserves in who had not played the entire game at crucial moments. He did this once again, and it nearly cost the team the game once again. Thanks to some clutch shots by Antonio Conquest, Christopher Simmons, and La'Phonso Ellis, the panthers were able to pull off a much needed and well-earned victory against the Saints.

Man, I know that everybody must be wondering what in the world is going on with the Greenville Men's basketball team. Opinions are scattered everywhere, ranging from lack of talent, inside prescence, and costly turnovers. An inside source close to the panthers thoughs sounds like they have the real reason. Although Greenville started off well with a 6-0 conference mark, they have since slipped to 6-5. This source believes that the main reason for the struggles could be that the Panthers' style has not changed since early this season while other teams have made all the proper adjustments. Some positives that I do see are exceptional freshman forward La'Phonso Ellis and sophomore guard Antonio Conquest. They can't do it themselves though. The supporting cast must step up and fill their necessary roles in order for the panthers to get back on track. Hopefully the coach can figure out how to get them to do that before the door is shut on this season.
