If you truly have to "love the people who can't see the humor", I think you should be ready to give a lot of lovin'. I don't see humor in a losing team, pro, college or high school, there are some of us "true fans" and "not fair weather fans" that will be the first to jump on the band wagon when the tables turn. So I just want to thank you for the love you've given me.

As we know the universe is expanding and bodies are moving away from one another. Does this mean that next year Carthage will be not be considered in reagion.
The NCAA is an asinine institution who's soul purpose is alter the rules every couple years to justify their existence. As a high school coach I can see plenty of similarities between the MHSAA and the NCAA. Idiots on parade!
NCAA Not a College Advanced Association. Haven't come up with an acronym for MHSAA yet, at least one that is acceptable on this site.

I have a very credible source that says the Calvin mascot has always been in the master plan. Calvin also has the world's best dunk in the master plan and it is coming soon to a site nearby!

I really don't mean to start this conversation again this week so no one has to respond to this vent. But JCU with 6 losses is still ahead of Hope!!!![]()

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said it was something that we just weren't privvy to and the fact that Hope lost is also a factor. I guess the NCAA doesn't have to answer to us, but it still would have been nice to know about it before. I know that you shouldn't prepare more for one game than the other, but reality is, you sometimes rest an athlete a little more and maybe take a few more chances on games that aren't considered a region game, you have to agree with that.

Whether it was a rule or a metod it doesn't seem to matter, if they want to change, either in mid-strem or after the fact, they're gonna change, and it won't stop until grievances and complaints are filed.

Being a "NEWBY" to the D3 HOOPS chat room (but not a new Hope fan) I'd just like to say this rivalry is still at it's finest, 2 great schools playing a great game. Sure, we can talk about Hope not coming out of the gate strong or playing flatfooted or even take a shot or two at the ref's, but when the last light's turned off and everyone's at home I give both teams a HIP HIP and a hats off to C Knights.
