I admitt I have been spectical all season long  about CNU chances of winning the conference title out right.  Going on the results of the game against NCWC last year.  Congrats to NCWC, but over the past 7 years I learn to equate D3FB officiating to the same as officiating JV basketball. Inadquated indecisions, when a 170lb QB takes the  snap and takes two steps and stand straight up for no gain and gets a full yard on the spot no wounder the athletes are better than the officiating. :o ::) :-X
One thing I think you forgot to mention....the QB is 6'5 taking 2 steps to his left where two OL weighing 250 and 275 are blocking. If they didn't get 3 inches then how was the game so close to begin with?

Dang, everyone is over on the pick-em board thinking NCWC is going to score close to 60 points on Averett this week. Gosh, can't imagine why. Gotta have faith...one would think after 10 weeks that the defense would toughen up a little.  ;D :o ???

I gotten put that bottle of Wild Turkey away.

Kickerdad, I hate to ask a stupid question, but where is the pick-em board?

I can tell you why NCWC will be a factor for years to come.....Coach Ginn has the entire Eastern NC to get "players". Guys, I have a son playing there that signed with Catawba outta HS. Transfers to NCWC and has played in a reserve role his first 2 yrs. Should start this fall at OL. My point being, Ginn has a world of talent to choose from. We all know there are alot of kids out there that were one inch too short or 20 pounds too light for some D1 school that are still very good football players.

NCWC only graduates 2 players, a OL and a DB! Everyone else returns.
