TC - I am kind of getting sick of fighting with you and now that you brought my personal life into it...I don't feel the need to ever respond to you again.  Its ashame these conversations had to go this route.

Before I sign off on the PAC board for good, I will attempt to clarify my earlier answer to LilNasty.  Despite what you may think I was being truthful about us starting a tournament and having to drop two opponents.  Also during that year we traveled to a tournament in Las Vegas over the Christmas holidays so not only did we have to drop two opponents for our own tournament but we also had to drop two normal opponents for the Las Vegas tournament we played in.  I have nothing to do with scheduling...I just keep the stats and argue with people like you.  I am sorry we did not get to play you that year...it would have been nice to have a rematch with the group that did in fact kick our pants in as you noted.  But sadly it was just not going to happen due to scheduling conflicts with us playing in two tournaments.

I will now be taking my ball and going to play in Pat's yard for now on as far as this room is concerned.  I don't need the headache.

BJ - Boy are you one sensative dude, you need a hug, go see Fred.

Who is fighting with you??? Oh I forgot your not talking anymore, but I know your still reading.

Just take a chill pill, we are just messing with you, I really hope you guy's can pull off some upsets and get to the Final 4.

Now give Pat back his ball before he CRIES some more. I know you still reading too Guru. It's more fun then watching Kate blab on.

All in favor of Pat shutting down TC and TC Jr.'s user names say "I"

I'll start

"I"

You guys aren't worth any poster's time.  Your ignorant, uninformed, and down right rude.  If you never posted up here again, I can guarantee no one would miss you.

If you somehow turn the corner and can see Division III women's basketball in a positive light, by all means come and comment...but don't come on here and just bad mouth anything that is not GMC.

There are 400+ schools in Division III and I can guarantee each player on each team of those 400+ schools works just as hard as the next.  No one's any better or any worse and your just giving your rooting interest bad publicity by bad mouthing everyone else.

All in favor of shutting down BJ say "I"

"I"

And your the SID? Your Father in Law would not like you carrying on like this.

Can you please tell me what you found ignorant about my post??? You said Desales put on a SHOW and I said some show their best player shot 2-13, 0-6 from 3 and 1 rebound. Burke showed what a great player she is, she bounced back with 26 points yesterday. I am still jelous she picked DeSales to go to over GMC.

You being an SID is a joke the way you call people "ignorant, uninformed and down right rude" How do you keep your job? Oh yeah, your Father In Law, DA.

Believe it or not I am hoping DeSales goes all the way, HOW RUDE!!!

Lil Nasty,

I am not 100% positive on your question but in 2006-07 the DeSales women started hosting its own Tip-Off Tournament for the first time ever.  When we started doing that we had to drop two regularly scheduled games to make room for the two tournament games.

Coach Richter and Coach Mondillo have an excellent relationship and agreed to postpone their annual match-up one year so that Coach Richter could get his tournament off the ground and running.

We returned the game this year at your place as per what I believe was the coaches agreement.  This kind of stuff happens all the time.

Hope that helps.

PLEASE, nice excuse. Why don't you tell them the real truth? Next time your sitting around the dinner table with your Father in Law Fred just ask him, then you can be 100%  positive that your clueless.

Ok you have to drop two regulary scheduled games who can we drop? Is that when Fred told you to drop GMC since they smoked you two years ago and had every strarter coming back the following year and knew DeSales would get smoked again?

I am 100% POSITIVE that's how it went down.

And how NICE of you to return the game this year when GMC is rebuilding and going to have a very young team next year. Give me a break.

TC trash talker,

How the hell old are? you 15? You know what I ment about respect on the court. That is where GM will earn it not in here by you and your little trash talkers trying to incite people.  By the way GM would have not done much better tonight against Messiah. The Falcons do have a shot at the final four if they play up to their potential.

This is my last post to you dweeb. In all honesty you would not want to take me one on one in anything, especially on the court. I'll just leave it at that.

dweeb????? are you 12?

I am picking myself up off the ground on your last statement, too funny.

Did you know Larry Bird was the biggest trash talker ever? He played in the NBA, you probably never heard of him you were just a twinkel in your Mothers eye when he played.

So you know what you can do with your twocents.

I grew up in Brooklyn so we had a saying about people who hate'

Di odio e qualcosa di avere di loro..  to hate something is to have fear of them.

Cabrini, thank goodness, did not win tonight. Looks like DeSales, hurry for Kate, did.

It figures your from NY, I knew I didn't like you.

I grew up in Phila and we have a saying about people from NY who live in Phila.

Get lost.

To the TC trash talkers. Grow up. Be thankfull GM is in the ECAC so they have a chance to extend their season. Respect is gained on the court not taking cheap shots on this thread.

No one asked for your twocents.

"Not taking cheap shots on the thread" What are you talking about????

Respect is gained on the court, a place you probably have never been. We can play one on one up to 10, your ball and I'll give you 9. Oh my bad, I better grow up.

Some show, I seen Burke was 2-13. But hey a W in a W.

Next year the Pac is losing a great team in Alvernia. They are moving to the MAC Freedom. They were a very young team this year and were hurt by injuries early in the year but by the end of the season they were as good as any team in the league.

Hey Pat I will bet you anything that they will go to the Mac Freedom next year and at least be in the Championship game. Not bad for a Pac team. If they don't I won't ever post on here again and if they do you have to promise me not to pick Medaille again next year as your sleeper.

My daughter played for GMC for 4 years, Alvernia won the league her first 2 years (I still haven't gotten over that loss in the Championship game her Fresh year)  and GMC won it her last 2 years. Over those 4 years Alvernia was the one team in the PAC I respected the most, everytime you played them you knew you were going to be in a game, very well coached and tough players.

GOODLUCK Alvernia and show the GURU the PAC can play!!!!!!!!

Kate your really going to have something to cry about next year, my ears are bleeding already.

"Did you know that GMC in the ONLY team with over 20 wins and has beaten at least 3 teams in the Tournament THIS year and still didn't get the invite? Now thats a FACT."

I'll probably regret getting involved in this war but the stat geek in me was intrigued by the above quote so me and a friend took a few minutes to see if that was in fact true.

Unfortunately its not and your above FACT is actually False.

Here are three other teams not dancing in the big dance with 20+ wins and at least 3 wins over current teams in the NCAA Tournament.  One even beat Marymount who defeated Gwynedd-Mercy early in the season (just for comparison sake).  There could be more than GMC and these three but there are at least four.

St. Benedict (20 wins, wins over Gustavus Adolphus, Carleton and St. Thomas)
http://www.d3hoops.com/school/SBEN/womens/2008

Kenyon (20 wins, two wins over Denison and one win over Brandeis)
http://www.d3hoops.com/school/KNYN/womens/2008

Randolph-Macon (22 wins, win over Marymount and two wins over Bridgewater)
http://www.d3hoops.com/school/RMC/womens/2008

Congratulations its a nice list to be on...it means you had a really nice season.  But you aren't the only team to accomplish this feat.  Good Luck in the ECAC this weekend.

BJ your KILLING me. I knew there had to be more I just wanted to see if Pat took his time to do his homework and check on that. He sits back and lets guys like you do his homework.

But you still ONLY came up with ONE team, St Benedict. I said "GMC is the only team to beat at least 3 TEAMS in the Tournament" not 3 wins. But thanks for doing the Guru's work.

PS - It's not a WAR, Pat really LOVES us.

TC -- you have no idea what you're talking about. You're just throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks, and nothing does. You've got no idea what you're talking about.

I mean, gosh, congrats on a home win against a 16-11 team. Wow. That's huge. Now you'll get into the Top 20, for sure.

Medaille took care of business and won its league. If it didn't win its league, it might not have gotten in.

Oh, except for the fact (facts are important, not just bluster) that Medaille had a win against a regionally ranked team, on the road no less. That's something that GMC still lacked.

Hey Pat let me throw this against the wall and see if it sticks.

Did you know that GMC in the ONLY team with over 20 wins and has beaten at least 3 teams in the Tournament THIS year and still didn't get the invite? Now thats a FACT. But hey Medaille has ONE win against a team regionally ranked, I guess that's bigger then 3 wins against teams that are in the tournament and 2 of those were AWAY games no less.
So I guess its NOT something GMC lacks. Do your homework.
