Brandeis does pull out the other side for the big games so they do have seats on both sides - very nice gym.

Trinity beats Midd 72-63
Hasiuk hit some huge shots down the stretch.
Trin was up 12 or so early in 1st half.
Midd fought back - went up 3 with 3 minutes to go.
Hasiuk hit an NBA 3 from top of the key to put Bants up by 1.
Closer game then final score indicates.
Good Luck Bants Sunday!

CCsalive:

The CC crowd was great.  15-25 students made more noise and had more fun then the entire home Trin crowd.  Dancing at halftime, no shirts on with chests painted C-A-M-E-L-S, lots of chants even when down by 19!  Good stuff that added to the atmosphere.  Hopefully Trinity students/fans took notice - a few tried their best but more student fans would be nice (surprising with such a successful program).

Sat directly across from Lord Jeffs fans at Trinity.  As mentioned before, it was only a very small percentage (less than 10%) who embarrassed themselves.  The 2 guys who were escorted out of the gym may or may not have been involved in the National Anthem shouts...could not tell as they were not ejected until much later in the game.  One guy in the 1st half, the other in the second.  Not sure what they did.

Another guy in the front row was so hammered he could barely stand up (they all stood at the rope line all game).  He kept yelling F U over and over as loud as he could to a Trinity free throw shooter 2 minutes into the game.  Ref (who was right in front of him) did nothing (like point him out to security).

Otherwise, fans of both teams made lots of noise...the place was rockin!

Olson's fade away 3 as the shot clock expired looked like a dagger at the time.  Wow....what a shot.  Big time cred to Trin for responding with big plays of their own.  Westbrooks, Taylor, Clark each hit huge shots to eat away at the Lord Jeffs lead.

Pat Martin saw Olson in Clark's shorts so he had no choice but to take it himself...

The Trinity clock guy then forgot to start the clock when Herst in bounded the ball.  Herst got to mid court before the refs stopped action to re-set the clock.  Martin's 3 went through the net with about 2 seconds left so you figure the clock stops at maybe 1.7

The refs re-set it to 3 seconds and the Jeffs got the ball at mid court!  So much for the home court advantage on the clock.

Olson had a nice look after a nice head fake but it was just short.

Awesome seeing the court flooded with fans.  Memories of the Conn Coll game Tabb's senior year and Halas' half court 3 at the buzzer over Wes.

A Great Time in Bant-ville Saturday!

And remember, the Bant's top scorer did not play.  Here's praying for a rematch in 2 weeks!
