rmc's post season aspirations in football and B-Ball ended by HSC, must add fuel to this rivalry.

Bridgewater College coach Mike Clark, a former VMI assistant, said Thursday he has talked "informally" with VMI athletic director Donny White about the Keydets' coaching vacancy.(Thursday 15)
Michael Clark, HBC at Bridgewater College, withdrew his name from the candidate list this weekend
must have been in for a candidate for a day or two or until he realized he was not their guy.

Will the VMI vacancy temp the ODAC coaches again this time around. Mike Clark showed interest two years ago and with .500 record in the odac and losing all of those seniors might be good time to split.

Willierobin, I think the cellar dwellers have gotten better. The Odac pick-em board is more difficult than it was a few years back. Poor playoff showings will happen when the ODAC champ has one or more L's . Going in as 7 or 8 seed is much harder then a 6th or better.
The top 8 or ten teams in d3 seem to be at a different level than the rest of the Division

I have heard 2 ODAC head coaches will be taking D1 coordinator jobs. Pretty good source but wouldn't give names, anyone know who might be moving on?

Purple v Purple is killing D3 . ESPN and the rest of the non d3 community could care less about this non- competitive annual clown show.

Why is HSC garnering so many accolades ? Four of the last five O-POY , three of the last five Dudley awards(Conrad was a runner-up)and now Two Gagliardi finalist in the last three years?

Unlikely that we could have co-COY with only two clear canidates and 7 voters.

Kid, "Marty's been trying to out coach Odac opponents since he started. " Whats Wrong with that?
"More often than not it didn't work" 33 times it did to 15 times were it didn't I'll take
68.8 % (# 1 in the ODAC ) '

Muchacho as for coy I agree in part it seems Pedro is the most likely recipient of coy.The Game still is the game and means a ton to both institutions. RMC is most probably favored by more than a TD, if either coach can come in and make a statement win that is your COY.

POY, Josh Simpson has had incredible numbers, but may not be the best offensive player on his team.
Drew Smith numbers are good ;90 receptions ,1353 yards 15 yds. per catch, but his intangibles like clutch 3rd down receptions, awesome blocking ability and team leadership may make him Marty's #1 go to guy.

If the cards can get a win next week BC will have a loss to every team in the odac over the past two years. Who would have thought.

Why wouldn't Pedro and Marty look past this weekend ? These games mean little, why not stay healthy and play for all the Marbles on the tenth
