From what I understand T. Arth had two offers from two AFL teams (New Jersey, and Florida).  Looking at the Argos roster it seems like he would have been better off in AFL.  Either way it is great he is still getting an opportunity.

OT Rick Drushal was cut yesterday by the Browns.  Hopefully he will have an opportunity somewhere else.

I do think JCU will be hurt with the DC leaving manily because of the timing. JCU will be going in to Spring Practice with no defined DC though Scafe has had experience in the past as a DC there will be a lose of continuity.  I have heard there former DC did a solid job game planning the opposing offense which shows considering they have had a strong defense since his arrival with inferiour athletes compared to the big dogs in the OAC.

I am surprised to hear so much talk about ETTA on this board. Not to crush your dreams they will be medicore at best similar to the last 10 years.   

Solid point, it would be tough to become a "former alum". Obviously I did not graduate from JCU instead Kent State. JCU was smart enough to deny my application.

As reported Scott Niedzwiecki DC at JCU as left to take St. Eds job.  The leading candidate to replace Scott is former "Berg" HC Brian Cochran.  This should be a nice fit for JCU in that Brain is a former alum.
