Is JCU looking to replace both coordinators this year?  The reason I say that is they just announced a new DC coordinator.  The one from last year went to Texas State and the new guy is from Iowa State . Plus the OC from last year is not listed on the 2018 season coaches list.  Any thoughts on why the turnover?  Was it because they underperformed?

Was anyone at the JCU vs CWRU scrimmage?  How did JCU look in the first half when the starters where in?

TIA

Out of curiosity... does a team like JCU give out awards like Newcomer of the Year OR Freshman of the Year?

If so who won it last year?

The new coaching staff at JCU has been posted:

Just after making my last post I found this nugget:

http://www.news-herald.com/sports/20170213/college-football-mentor-assistant-coach-nick-alexander-joins-rick-finottis-staff-at-john-carroll

Nick Alexander is leaving the Mentor coaching staff to be the passing coordinator and quarterbacks coach at John Carroll.

Good find...onward on!

Now we gotta find the OC.

Any chance he keeps the guy that was the OC last year that Arth left behind?

Flannery seems like a heck of a great replacement if JCU can get it done.

Has John Carroll decided what it is going to do for coaching next year after Moran retires?

As a JCU Alum, I sure would like to see the new coach release the names of his new staff.  I want to see how he is building his staff.  Anybody out there hear anything about possible assistant coaches?

Any idea if the press conference introducing the new JCU coach will be available to watch now or at a later time?

I love the NE Ohio connections that he will bring to the job.  I am intrigued to how he builds out his staff.  Will he look to bring along any of his former coaches from his high school days....or will he bring any younger guys he met at Michigan?  Should be interesting.

Not having a coach is nerve racking for JCU fans.  I would assume we are missing out on some key recruiting time without a coach in place.  What would be a reasonable timeframe for getting a new coach?

How much of JCUs search is "let's post the job and see who applies" vs "actively go out and recruit a new coach that intrigues you"???
