Just wanted to let you know of how much I respected and still respect your points of view and perceptions of Hope basketball.  When I was playin ball at Hope, it was always nice to see what you had to say, good, bad or indifferent. 

PS.  It was also nice of you to say those kinda words to me at the end of my career.  Now Im a poster, still got the itch to talk bball

FDF....I would be SO grateful if I could get my hands on those games.  It's a fun past time of mine, watching old game tapes.  I just turn em off before I know it will get ugly.  But lucky for us, it didn't get ugly to often  

My years at Hope...5-5 vs. Calvin.  Fitting cause I've heard it's been a close rivalry over the years?

He's a great kid with a great work ethic.  Im actually livin with the old roomie and some of the boys in St. Joe starting May 6th.  Coming back to Hope to get a degree  in sociology, so I'll be seeing you around.  What I would LOVE...is if they had another alumni vs. JV game.  My hands get sweaty thinkin about it. 

P.S. -  I coached Kurt Carroll this past year at South Lyon, so I know first hand he "could" be a consistent PG for Hope.  Who knows...only time will tell but I will be at a few games watching.

Its funny how once Hope basketball is in your life it never dies.

FDF....any chance you have both Calvin games from my senior year?  I would love to get a copy of those for my own archives.  Good to hear from you...

Kurtis Carroll.  PG- 5'11"  South Lyon H.S.

I was voted honorable mention all-state

Conference (KVC) Player of the year.  Class A

12 PPG.  8 assists (has unbelievable vision and passing skills.  4 steals a game.

Things he needs to improve on....quickness...staying out of foul trouble.  Could be a gem, depends on how he improves his game in the off-season.
