I haven't been on this board for a while so I'm not sure if this has been touched on or not. I see that former UW-O coach Phil Meyer has resigned his Minnesota o-line position this offseason after just two seasons with the gophers. Does anyone know where he might be coaching next?  ???

Any word on the WIAC non-conference opponents for this coming season? I think only Stout and Platteville have their 08 schedules posted?

Any of you Titan fans have a prediction or preference as to who the new head coach will be?

Better luck next year Wesley but thanks for that funny joke today- coming into whitewater and pretending to play football and all. We all enjoyed a good laugh. Good luck to the warhawks in the stagg bowl. Let's hope we have a better understanding of what we're up against this time around! GO WARHAWKS!

Those poor Wesley players probably still have ringing in their ears from hearing that cannon so many times in last year's game. Oh well, I guess that complaint shows how much confidence they have in their defense. GO WARHAWKS

Bring out the tissue and warm up the bus. This will be a long miserable ride home for the Johnnies!

Watching Kleppe and these SJU o-linemen is like watching pins trying to block a bowling ball, especially since they're wearing all white with red stripes. Is it safe to assume Wesley will have to come to Whitewater?

WIAC fans, check out the article on kleppe in the state journal today. go warhawks!

I agree with uwpsuperfan, last year at Oshkosh I felt that student attendance at athletic events was sad at best. Like Eau Claire, UWO has a football stadium that is more of a driving distance away, especially on cold days when the walk was miserable. Basketball on the other hand took place right across the street from most of the dormitories. The school newspaper even printed articles in consecutive weeks calling out to students to come support Titan athletics because student support was so pathetic. I guess the interest just isn't there.  Anyone know something I don't? ???
