I agree that Sunday's tilt should be a close affair. It will be interesting to see what UST does to slow Seth Anderson. On another note, it's Greg Meyer, not Myers.

I'm fairly certain Alfred Jaryan is no longer on the team - he hasn't played in any of their last five games.

I've heard a lot of rumors that Hannon will be coming back next year.

I think we could add Concordia to the list will they get another W? They've lost six straight, and close with the Gusties at home and a road game in Collegville that could be VERY important for the Johnnies. .

It will be interesting to see if Alfred Jaryan starts tomorrow night vs. the Tommies. He was relegated to the bench in their last game in California and only played ten minutes. Is this another case of Coach Koz falling out of love with a senior?
In other news - looks like a former Bethel standout is in some serious hot water:

Olaf wins big without Fong (any idea why?)
Gusties fall behind big in second half, catch fire and win on buzzer beater 98-96
Hamline gets big three late, wins by 3
Carleton...well, they may finish by midnight
Also - I'm looking hard, but don't see Manani Beavers on the Concordia roster any longer

I have a feeling you know the answer, but he's going to St. Thomas.

I have a feeling Palmer's young daughter also played a role.
Anyone know what happened to Paul Franklin? Played at EC last year, not on roster this year.

For the MIAC, Stewart is an upper level athlete. He can really score, especially slashing to the basket. He has the length and aforementioned athleticism to be a good defender. He is a D2 level player playing D3. I also remember the last player that could "stand to add a little bulk" as a freshman did pretty well for himself - Tyler Nicolai I believe was his name.

Stewart is better than "good, solid". He is a potential four year starter.

Not sure a POY list is complete without Cory Polta. He has a greater chance than AG-G in my opinion.

Palmer was NEVER anything close to a point guard for Saint Mary's. He's a rugged 3/4 who plays bigger than his 6'4" height. While he can handle the ball on the outside and hit the 3, he's best in the paint. I'm not sure how you got the idea he was a point guard.

does uwrf have one loss or two losses? i thought they had two, but the top 25 poll says they only have one. either way, a great start to the season for the falcons.
