That was a big win for AU and with my Eagles winning they pulled within a game of conference leader Rockford. To Featherfriend.....Rockford has beaten the teams they should have and the losses have come to some quality teams (even if they are in the middle of their conferences). 17-4 is still a remarkable record either way and they are still winning conference. And a go-to player? How about Strunz who is averaging around 23 ppg in conference and lit up my Eagles for 30 in the game at our place? How about we support our conference teams, instead of bashing the league leader. It should be a fun race to watch down the stretch, good luck to everyone.

Conference opens up tomorrow.....any thoughts or predicitons? Rockford and Eureka have the best records but my Eagles will give them a run for their money. It also looks like Aurora and Concordia are playing better.

I had heard that Rockford's men coach resigned. That is a loss for Rockford, he had turned that program around. Good luck to the new coach.

Anyone ever read those ridiculous comments the Eureka coach makes after games on their website? Made me chuckle today reading them.

Go Eagles! What a huge win for them. It was a great effort by the girls. Now its time for the tournament and the bid for the berth is up in the air. I think it is pretty even from the 1-5 seeds, so anyone can win it. The best post player in conference, Tamika Curtis, is getting hot at the right time, so watch out!

Sorry-"A week"! Aurora had a good week. I'm not taking anything from them, they are winning, so congrats to them. I am glad to see there are "bandwagon" fans still around though. All year you have been bad mouthing your squad and all of a sudden, they win a few games, and your talking like they are the conference favorites. Why is that? Good luck to everyone.

My Eagles played awful on Tuesday, just one of those games. BU will turn it around before the tourney starts. Nothing to worry about! As for Aurora, every team has its day. Rockford-Eureka, big game! I would have to give the edge to RC at home but Eureaka's Reardon will be a tough matchup for them. She could light them up!
