WOW! Did not see that type of game coming! Stressful, but entertaining as hell. Did I hear right? We have Aurora on the schedule next fall? Do we know our other non-conference opponent?

If the Johnnies win Saturday, will they be home for round 2?

Anybody know if the Johnnies are going to find a game for 9/9/2017?

Is the Johnnie playoff roster posted anywhere? Just curious.

Why didn't the game end when Augsburg scored? Bethel failed to score on their possession

Going back a little further. 2001 the Johnnies started out 0-2 before reeling off 11 wins and winning the West Region. I know, I know, this team contained the players that were the backbone of the 2003 team, but an impressive feat regardless.

Thanks to the Johnnies for a very good season that ended too soon.
I am hoping someone a more familiar with the rules can answer a question for me. On one Johnnie punt both Coe returners were in position to field the punt. One signaled for a fair catch, but the other player fielded the punt and attempted to advance. I thought there should have been a flag. Was I right?

If the Johnnies get a home game next weekend, 12, 000 fans? Not gonna happen. The Johnnies generally draw in the neighborhood of 2500-3000 fans for home playoff games. Everyone has to pay admission; probably around $5-7 for students, $8-10 for everyone else. And weather isn't much of a factor. I remember it was unseasonably warm for the 2001 game against St. Norberts and there was barely 3000 fans. There are probably other factors that affect playoff attendance as well.
Like I said...

With rosters of around 180 players it sometimes must be hard for the cream to rise to the top. The Johnnie coaching staff is probably as good at evaluating talent as they come, however, talented players are bound to be overlooked. Also, according to my brother who was on the team in the mid 1990's, some talented recruits just don't have the grades to get into St. John's. While I realize this will never happen, I think the Johnnies would benefit from have a JV team. It hasn't hurt Might Mount!

I haven't seen the video so I'm talking in general about similar plays. Many times when it looks like the ball is spotted short of where it appears that it should be spotted, I've seen replays that show that the runner's knee is down while his upper body is still off the ground and moving forward, and when the ball actually stops it's forward momentum, it is about 1 to 1/2 yard farther than when the knee actually touched. I'll choose to believe that this was the case yesterday, until I am convinced otherwise
The sideline commentator for the Johnnies broadcast, Mike Carr, a DII referee, was standing on the goal line and it looked to him like the Tommies scored on the play.
