Looking like a trip to Minnesota next week. Just saw St. Thomas head coach is an Ithaca grad... Wonder if Blaise or Welch will be getting a phone call later today...

82 does fully expect to make a return trip to DVC, next Saterday, to avenge the 2004 loss.
The last 3 minutes of the game still get my goat...
Such crazy finish...
YEH...no ish...82 was there. After the game a certain coach (i am sure you can figure it out) was revealing to 82 and another alum his feelings about another certain coach's decision to be passing on 3 and 7 at the end when as I recall, DVC had no timeouts
Not being a wise guy when asking this...but can someone tell me exactly what happened at the end of the game? Am I mistaken that you guys (Fisher) were down the whole game...then took the lead late, only to have Del Valley score to win in the final seconds?
If we do come out with a win, I will try to make the trip the next week to DVC as I don't believe that's too far from DC either. I have a bunch of co-workers coming with me to the game (at least they say they are for now) who grew up in Rochester and work down in DC w/ me. Them and the Mrs will be sporting old #25 jerseys (don't tell anyone I have them)

As for the DVC game of '04 Yanks... by the act of god the headsets broke down and the coaches couldn't communicate from the box. I remember being in the huddle w/ a DVC cornerback standing about 2 feet outside it listening to what we were going to call (our dumb fault for letting it happen) and we came out and threw a pick. They proceeded to score w/ hardly any time left. I think it was their 3rd comeback win in as many weeks? I could be wrong though. What a rough day to play though- the place was a mud pit in certain areas. This guy loved the conditions though

Didn't Fisher travel up to Maine a few years back to win an ECAC game? What would distance have to do with anything?...
In other news... I'm rounding up some people here in the DC area and gearing them up in Fisher apparel for the trip to Johns Hopkins on Saterday. Looking forward to getting there and finding the Kramer's to tailgate! Anyone else going and can give me some insider info on where to go? I'm thinking about getting to JH by 10ish.
First time this season I'll be able to watch them so I'm very excited!

So...If I'm reading this right (and mind you I'm about 4 or 5 frosty beverages deep) no matter who wins, there will be a cross country flight for the winner of the Wesley/Hobart game in the second round?! Interesting...

First person to find out what time Fisher plays at JH please let me know.
I have a 6pm flight to Miami on Saturday but would love to start the day by watching the alma mater!
Feels good to have them back in the postseason! Now what bracket are they in so I can follow the banter?

Been lurking for a bit, but I gotta throw my two cents in on this one...
I personally went to Fisher because of Bud Simms, he's who recruited myself and Fortune. Vosburgh recruited Buffalo so you can thank him for Stepnick. Scacchetti had a hand in recruiting me as well as he handles Corning/Binghamton... I may stand corrected but I believe Blaise recruited the city of Rochester and parts of Syracuse but I could be wrong.
Regardless, players weren't chomping at the bit to go to Fisher b/c of Faggiano. It was because of the Bills being there, rediculous facilities, and great programs offered by the school.... I barely knew the guy when heading to Fisher.
Hope everyone out there is doing well! I'm living in DC now so it's been hard for me to keep up with what's going on at SJFC. I'll be back in town next week though so i'm looking forward to stopping by the old stomping grounds.
well there ya have it....tough to debate them apples.....and all this time I thought it was 'our' record of 21-19 back in '82's day that 'recruited' the likes of Robinson, Ferenbach, Stepnick, etc.
It was knowing we'd able to throw back a few cold ones w/ the likes of '82 and '91 after we graduated that brought us there
Such a kiss-ass. That said, stop lurking and start posting. You're missed here.
Easy Frank! Some of us are trying to save this economy 1 client at a time... Can't be sitting behind a desk all day and it's too dangerous to post on here and drive in this traffic!!!
I'll try to be a bit more active on here- I'm definitely going to try and make an appearance at the Salisbury game down my way! Missed you guys! Even the Alfred fans

Hey all,
Been lurking for a week or so catching up on off-season chatter. Looking forward to catching a couple games this year as I'm now living right down the street from Fisher. Won't make it to the opener due to a golf tourny down in Bath w/ Big Ed.
'91 when will I be graced by your presence and an ice cold UC?!?! I'm sure i'll get the old man up for a couple tailgates for a reunion w/ Dr. Kramer as well.
Upstate- how's the family doing? Hope you're doing well!!!!
It's looking like I won't make it to a game until Ithaca due to work travels.
60 degrees for a high in Rochester this Saturday... Welcome to football season weather!!!!

I check in for one day and you guys are still talking about me behind my back
jk
Dr. '91- I believe my old man Dr. Big Ed will be attending...
I can also imagine we could bring in Stepnick (who's a Sheriff now... wtf?!?!) and other recent alumni will be coming in for the game as well.
Tags- your wife drove me home while I was walking home with a bag full of Chinese food two days ago. When the hell you coming in to town? Elks tournament this weekend in Bath this weekend. Me, the old man, switch and Knight are going to take home the trophy w/out you there!
I'll definitely make it to more than the Mt. game-- depending on weather, women, and work-- ugh
Happy weekend boys!
