A few of quick things:

1) Pfantz was offered a job by Raeburn, after he left for Wabash, but Pfantz had just gone through the task of getting out of his teaching contract, midyear mind you. He knew this would be career suicide if he were to try and get out of Central. I also think he is pretty happy with his situation at Central at the moment. (Yes, I know Pfantz and that is how I know this information.)

2) I think Northern would have stayed at Coe to be a GA had Coe actually offered as much money. (this is just speculation) I have heard from a very reliable source that Wabash offers a considerable amount more to there GA's.
-Also, who wouldn't want to go to a place where there is the chance of having ESPN Gameday on campus for the final game of the year because they draw such a crowd. (I believe it's close to 12,000 people on hand.)

3) Party school I would definitley have to rank them as follows:
1)Coe - Personal experience and as stated before "if you thought of it we've
                      tried it."
         2) Wartburg - I have heard things can get pretty crazy, but the bar scene is
amazing for such a small town.
         3) Luther - I think it all depends on who you are with up there. I always had
                           a good time.
The rest can fall as they may in my opinion, although BV probably should
have gotten some recognition on my list, but I never partied there.

4) On the whole Koehler leaving Wartburg and Willis taking over. I have heard that most of the coaches are more worried about Wartburg now because they feel Willis is a much stronger coach.

There's my two cents. (might actually be more like a quarters worth!)

Longtime reader first time poster.

the_mayne_event is right about the Plateville scrimmage. I can remember the Kohawks getting it handed to them when they had two-time IIAC MVP Freddie Jackson on the team. The Kohawks will be fine this year.

GO KOHAWKS!!!!
