Just saw Muskingum's new helmets on their website. To be honest, I'm really on the fence about them. I really liked the red oval with the white block M in the middle. Either way, I just hope the Muskies pick a uniform style and helmet logo and stay with them. Nothing drives me crazy like colleges always tweaking their uniforms every couple years like a high school team. College football is about tradition! You don't see Ohio State or Notre Dame or Penn State or St. John's or Mount changing their unis everytime Nike comes out with a trendy new design. Worst uniforms ever: Oregon, Miami, WVU--anything with those pointy half stripes on the pants make me want to gag! And yes, Muskingum had those last year, as did half the high schools in America. There's nothing like good ole' full stripes on the pants.

Saturdays in New Concord...nothing better. Maybe if we get some W's!
There is a some tailgating at Muskingum. I plan to be there every game this year, so look for the big red tent and the Muskie flag. Mount fans always bring a crew to tailgate though. Of course! They are always very classy though.

I love DIII football and everyone knows the OAC has the best football in the country. I love to explore different college campuses and stadiums. Which OAC school, do you all think, has the best stadium from a fan's point of view? Mount is electric, obviously. I love to sit on the hill under those huge oak trees opposite the bleachers at Muskingum. I am eagerly awaiting John Carroll game so I can check out their new field. Have not been to Wilmington yet. Any thoughts?
