Just a few other stats on Studebaker from last year (most of which can't be fudged too much - like can be done with the 40):

Parallel Squat: 615 lbs.
Power Clean: 400 lbs.
Bench Press: 435 lbs.
Overhead Jerk: 415 lbs.
Pro-Agility Shuttle: 4.05
40-Yard Dash: 4.43

Good gravey...

I Watched some of the combine this week, and I don't remember seeing very many LB's with a 40 like that.

WOW - People are talking about Millikin now.  I do believe the school realizes that it has fallen behind, and I do believe that is why they are going to be spending several millions of dollars the next couple years to get the campus where it needs to be.

All programs have swings with their programs - Look at the Irish at ND last year.

Millikin's campus is very impressive overall.  I'm not to worrired about what was said with the drinking aspect that was mentioned earlier.  I went to college just like the rest of you and you all know what it is like.

We will just have to wait and see how things turn out.......

All I know is my son will get a college education and is playing the best game ever(Football).

This is going to be changing fast.  They just spent about $60K on the locker room.  The new building that is going up on the visitor side of the football field will have a new weight-room, etc., plus the new area they use for meetings and visitors is very nice.  Also, they are looking at changing the turf this off-season.  They should be starting that soon.  I know when we were there a few weeks ago the head coach was in a meeting discussing the turf.

Recruiting wise they are very good.  We have met with or talked with about 20 coaches in the midwest the past few months.  Millikin stood out.

Overall Millikin has a lot to offer.  I'm very proud that my son has decided to go to Millikin.

My son played for a Private school in Maitland, FL just 5 minutes North of Orlando.

Millikin just updated the old locker rooms for now.  They are developing plans to extend the building on the visitors side the length of the field.  Placing new bleachers and have offices that have windows facing the field.

Millikin Fan here......

I know that Millikin has spent a ton of money on the locker rooms - I've seen them and they are nice.

I also know that they are trying to determine what the new surface will be for the field.

My son has be accepted to Millikin and will be on the team next year.  I'm looking forward to his future on getting a great education from Millikin and continuing to play the game he loves.

I'm always traveling and I really enjoy sites like this.

My son is going to be a senior this year in High School, and already has his mind made up on the University.  We are really enjoying the experience now and he has a whole year of high school left.

I think some of the problem is that he is going to play his senior year in florida, and in florida there aren't any D3 schools so they don't understand.

He will be going to a CCIW team.

I really appreciate a lot of the comments that have been made.   :)

What do you say to someone when they don't think its a big deal that your son is going to play D3 football?  My son has met with a school and has told them that he wants to play for them, and the school wants him there.  We spent the whole day with them.

I had a guy tell me well anyone can play D3 football.  I think there is more to that in my opinion.  I would think you would need to be invited, and accepted.

I'm very proud of my son.  He knows that he is going to get a great education and continue to play the game that he loves.

Does anyone out there something that I can throw back at them?
