I read that Swider said Wheaton has three transfers coming in that are capable of contributing this fall.  Looking back at 2008 statistics, I found the following on Seth Skogen while he was at Furman:

RECEIVING            GP  No.  Yds   Avg  TD Long Avg/G
Seth Skogen          12    5   28   5.6   2   12   2.3

But, I couldn't find anything on Matt McReynolds and Taylor Johnson, while they were at Texas State and Indiana State, respectively.  In fact, it doesn't look like the football website at Indiana State has been updated since 2007.  Does anybody have any insight on which transfer is most likely to have the greatest impact?

Also, I would be curious if there are any other transfers coming into the CCIW that could see significant playing time this fall.

"The odds are against me.... but, I'm going to do everything I can to make this team."

Love the attitude.  Keep it up #40.

WOW... Maybe my new name should be Mr. Ypsi's bitch!    :'(

I vote for that.

Oh gosh, this just took a turn for the worse.  Now I feel badly for you Redman04.

As do I! :o ;D  [I've already got a female dog, though she's currently undergoing chemotherapy - she's now my $10,000+ dog. :(]

So when do YOU surrender your nom de guerre?  Going back to Billy Pilgrim, or you got something else in mind?

No, Billy's dead to me. :o

Let's do this... one more game - Florida vs. Oklahoma or MUC vs. UWW to keep it D3-oriented, for all the marbles. :P

Redman04 calls it.  If he wins, he gets to choose both of our tag names.  If he loses, then he becomes "Mr. Ypsi's Female Dog" :-[ (until Carthage plays IWU next year) and I get to choose my own tag name.

Complicated, but this is the last twist in this bet. ;)

WHEATON PLAYED SO BAD THEY DON'T DESERVE TO BE ON ESPN.
Screaming in all caps that Wheaton doesn't deserve something?

YEAH... I'VE BEEN UPSET WITH REDMAN04 FOR MORE THAN A YEAR ABOUT MY TAG NAME! :o

It was a great year for the Thunder.  It's been said before, but they were left for dead after a dismal performance at Elmhurst, responded against the charter school in Kenosha and made it to the playoffs.  Then, as Mugsy noted, they beat Trine, Wabash, Franklin and lost to the best team in the country.  So be it - life goes on.  And although we're not there yet, we'll get there, you can count on it.  Regardless, those guys carried the torch for Wheaton, it's former and future players, and represented the CCIW well.

Now, I'm ready to change Redman04's tag name, so I'll throw it out to the board.  Any ideas from Mr. Redman04?  Personally, I like something that includes Maverick and McCain, but I'm sure we can think of something better.  Thoughts?

Spelling error corrected, but Wheaton is down 21 at half.

Wahoo, were you Thunderstones in a previous life?

Time for Pete to make a big play.  (That prediction is for you General Public.) ;)

Need a TD before half.

Not only is Wheaton down by 24, the NCCA has mispelled "Weaton" on video scoreboard during the break.  Tough day so far.

No Gingg btw... tough luck for Wheaton.

Hershey already with one fumble.  Hopefully he'll turn it around and step it up.

Hey Wahoo,
Is my credibility still lacking in regards to Gingg not playing?

Dude... you're not going to win this one.

Is anybody trying to watch the game on ncaa.com?  Although the game doesn't start for another 15 minutes, I'm having trouble getting it to load.

I have audio only no video as of yet.

Yeah, still no video.

I now have video.
Go to the Ncaa link and load the software, then come back into that link and you should have video.

Ugh, I see.  10-0 purple people eaters.
