Birmingham Southern wins 2 games against Greensboro.  Big wins for the group of freshman.  You know it was exciting for them as well as the coaches! ;D

Any other scrimmages this past weekend?
Scores, leading hitters, pitching? Updates out there?
Thanks

If BSC's games count for the season and just say they do better than a team that gets to go to the tournament, wouldn't that be a disappointment to all the guys that worked hard at BSC?  I understand that they are the new team that moved from D1 to D3 , but none of the players are from the D1 team.  It just seems it would be disappointing to know that you are better than a team going to conference tournament.  First , I realize they have to prove that, and I think they will looking at the talent and reading all the bios. Hopefully, they will play hard knowing this.

I don't know if the BSC games will count or not. Would like to see them count since they just have freshmen and not anyone from the former team , it would make sense to me that they could count.  It will give the players more of a chance to feel more apart of the conference. I think it is going to be an exciting year for those guys, don't count them out, looks like the roster has guys from everywhere from Kentucky. NC, GA, to FL.  Some of the bios. look pretty good. They will be ready with the coaching staff. Heard great things about those guys down there.  ;D

BSC has 2 scrimmages Sunday starting at noon. This is homecoming weekend . Playing a jc. Don't know which one. Will try to get more details and some names of players if any lists are out. This is a young team. Should be a good day for baseball. Everyone is welcome to attend. Families are invited. Great field to host baseball.

I like to go for the underdogs. I try to follow the new and developing guys .
Would like to see BSC do well for that reason.  Glad to hear the conference starts earlier with posts than the others. Would like to know more about the
Also , they had a strong baseball school, would like to see it continue and have some of the guys feel the success of the past.  I do think Rhodes will continue to be strong from what I have read. Thanks for the welcome.

Any ideas about the new recruits at Birmingham/Southern? Mostly freshman, where are they from, any standouts, any knowledge out there?
Coaches are new as well, should be exciting to watch.
