Just out of curiosity, What was up with the Head Official rushing over to the Wheaton QB several different times after a play and helping him to his feet when he got knocked to the ground? He never helped a Carthage player to his feet. Was he related?
WOW...at least I'm not the only one who questioned the refs all game. Sitting on the Thunder side, I am amazed at what poor sports their fans really are. I never cursed, nor did I say anything that would offend any child in the stands, yet I was scorned, with profanities, after I cheered for my Redmen. I am truley sorry that I was unable to sit with the other Redmen fans, as that side was full. GO REDMEN, GREAT JOB COACH RUCKS

Any idea on the Carthage travel plans this weekend to Cali. Should be a pretty convincing win this weekend for the Red.

Sorry.
In 2004, Wisc. Luth did not have their own field. They shared a field with a high school.

Why is it that Concordia (Wisc.) gets to play somewhat close to home when they don't have a proper press box to host a playoff game?
This was the same problem that Carthage had in 2004, so we had to travel to Alma, Michigan. Any insights Pat?
Great question. I was wondering the same thing. If circumstances were similar as 2004, Carthage should have played at Wis. Luthern or somewhere close by or CUM should have to travel to NCC?

17-14 Carthage
2 really questionable pass interference calls on the Redmen secondary.
NCC having shotgun snap problems throughout the first half.

By the way, I am making the trip to the NC game. You can't beat walking to the bar at halftime and making it back without missing a snap. Carthage is going to have their hands full. Hopefully they can keep it close and pull something off at the end.

November 06, 2006, 09:54:43 PMDr. Rumack: Captain, how soon can you land?
Capt. Clarence Oveur: I can't tell.
Dr. Rumack: You can tell me, I'm a doctor.
Capt. Clarence Oveur: No, I mean, I'm just not sure.
Dr. Rumack: Well, can't you take a guess?
Capt. Clarence Oveur: Well, not for another two hours.
Dr. Rumack: You can't take a guess "for another two hours"?
Capt. Clarence Oveur: No, no, no, I mean we can't land for another two hours.

Capt. Rex Kramer: Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked, in the head, by an iron boot? Of course you don't--no one does--that never happens.

Dr. Rumack: Can you fly this plane and land it?
Ted Striker: Surely you can't be serious.
Dr. Rumack: I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.
