Wanted to take the opportunity to give the Little Giants and their fans kudos for a great season.  As always, you have represented the NCAC with dignity and class.  Good luck to all of your seniors and in recruiting.  It has been fun following you the last few weeks.

Go Tigers!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing the Little Giants in the Semifinals.  It will be a huge boost to the NCAC.  Best of luck this week!  Keep representing well.

Go Little Giants!!! (I can't bring myself to say that little motto that you all have  ;D)

There's always risk of injury.  That risk doesn't increase if the game is in hand.  Yes it would be bad to lose a starter while playing in a blow out.  But that's football.

If you are afraid of getting hurt, go play shuffle board.   ;D

All kidding aside, it's not a team's fault you can't stop them.  What are your thoughts on a team scoring with their JV's.  Those kids are getting their chance on the field, should they not try to score?  Sometimes at team's JV's are better than their opponents varsity.

As far as running up the score... Isn't it the job of the defense to stop the offense from scoring.  Not to mention, it isn't like the Patriots can put in the JV's, they don't have JV's.  Was it classless going for it on 4th down?  Maybe...

Either way they were going to score points.  And like Bellicek (sp?) said, he felt like it gave their (Bills) defense a chance to make a stop.

As far as MUC running up the score, I don't think they do in intentionally.  Sometimes even when you put in the JV's you score points.  What are you supposed to do, take a knee three times and punt?  Now that would be classless.

Point being, if you don't want to get beat by 70, stop them.

Yeah, I can't believe they don't have visitor's bleachers... Oh wait, I'm from Wittenberg...strike that first comment. ;D

Great Job, Little Giants.  Keep it rolling next week.

Question for the the Bash Posters...

How much blood does it take for grass to grow greener when it's partly cloudy and the temp in the low 50's? ;D

I'm looking for a complete whippin'!!!

I simply find it funny that every year the same thing is said..."Mount doesn't get challenged, wait till they play someone good, etc."

But more times than not, when they do play someone "good" they still win.  Whether you win by 100 or 1, it's still a win.  And they will win on Saturday.  If not...it will be a bit shocking and a great day for Ithaca, the E8, and the other teams of the East Region. ;)

The great thing about MUC being in the East region this year is...

After the East rolls into Alliance and takes their beating, they'll have a much better understanding of just how good Mount is.  Until you witness it...it can be hard to believe.  I can tell you, they are impressive.

I'll tell you what's a "hoot", saying that the OAC is a solid conference yet here is the average MUC game this year:

MUC:         54
Opponent:  2

Outside of Capital, I don't see what you're talking about. The East will challenge them... An average score of 54-2 you will not see.

We may not see 54-2... that would require Mount to give up a safety. ;D

i think its exciting that the 2 oac teams are in opposite brackets and could meet in the stagg.  i know cap is way down injury wise on offense but if they get by uww saturday at that point anything would be possible.  as for mount good luck east this is a train wreck coming thru your town.  won't be pretty.

Cap won't make it to Salem.

Go post this on the NCAC board.  They have more brain cells to spare.
Always something to say about the NCAC.

Hey, that was a compliment!

A backhanded compliment.

We had better be on our A-game then.
It is the playoffs.

Good luck this weekend.  You will represent the NCAC well.

If we could subtract the 13 pts we gave up to Capital and add 2pts, and add 8 pts to the Wabash score, we'd be 9-0 heading into Hiram.;D

You've responded with a pointless post to one that's point was that while opponents scored an average of 13.7 pts against CWRU; only an average of 11.4 were against the "D."

I completely understood  your post.  I was kidding... see the ;D.   Everyone says things like if you take this away from that... you get this.  The fact is the points were scored and the average is what it is.

CWRU "D" holds 'em to 13.7pts.
aue, if you subtract the 21 pts that the O and ST gave up, the D is only giving up 11.4!!
