jdub, i will agree with you that VW is a lot deeper than guilford and hsc especially at the guard spot. im picking them to finish 1st but i think the odac will pick guilford jus for the fact that vwc is not a liked team in the odac.....know who do you guys think will b the best player at each position in the ODAC

i agree....although the marlins due lose to starters in adair and sumpter i think that hassell and tucker played significant enough minutes last year where they can step in and not be a problem and if VWC has one of its post players step up to play half as well as adair did then this could be another great year for VWC. i think the marlins will be picked to finish 3rd this year behind guilford and sydney but dont be suprised when you see them cutting down the nets for the 3rd out of 4 years in the salem civic center.

fields played and battaglia and they both looked non existent. fields did not play like his normal selfand battaglia was well idk. adair is playing with the marlins in this and he finished with 16pts but other than that the post game looked much improved compared to last year. fantin made some tough moves to score in the post down the strech and the marlins also have another kid playing with them that is about 6'8 but i dont believe he plays for VWC. other than that is was more of a guard oriented game due to the lack of defense played by the apprentice guards. the marlins spotted up balenga and dixon and watched tucker repeatedly come off ballscreens and determine the tempo of the game whether it was driving for lay-ups or kicking to teammates. the marlins will have a great backcourt next with a great sixth man in fields

VWC team looked pretty good at times and pretty bad at times this weekend in the 7 cities pro-am but looked like a team that is ready to show what it has without brandon adair...the marlins were lead in scoring by tucker followed by fantin,balenga and dixon...

any word on recruits in the ODAC? i here VWC has some good ones
