Let's be fair. Beloit has the least talent in the MWC yet they are giving it all they've got.

I wouldn't say they have the least talent, but the youngest talent.....anyway GREAT win last night, we got our money's worth....even tho we didn't pay to get in! ;D ;D As far as Ladwig, I wouldn't expect him back this season.........just from what I heard in the stands.

Totally agree w/ you, a solid B minus would be a fair assumption.  The alumni game will be interesting ;D

I was pleasantly surprised after attending the BC/Edgewood scrimmage last night.  BC is loaded with good guards and the "big" guy mix was nice.  (even w/o Horton, and 2 out for football).  Their guards play very scrappy and are excellent ball handlers.  Kenny could/should shoot more, and plays in your pocket defense.
Lovgren will be a force, as he's got a sweet shot and can scrap down low.

As far as freshman, McDonald, Ewing, Horton and Towns were standouts last night.

Wimmer played more agressive than I remember him from last year.  He's got the size to disrupt the middle, thats for sure!

The way it sounds, Andy Horton will be back soon.  He will be a key cog for the Bucs success this year, and will bring some stability to a very talented group of freshman.

The Bucs ended up splitting with a very athletic/deep Edgewood team, and played well in our "situational" sets.

I won't make any predictions (yet), but am very excited for the "upswing" Bucs ;D

But before you bemoan UWW too much, I'd suggest worrying about Wheaton.  While I think it would classify as an upset, my pick ems has Wheaton winning.  And I don't even think it will be AA Kent Raymond that primarily does you in - it's Andy Wiele that I'm not sure LU can stop.

totally agree, don't look past em or they'll likely to bite cha in the buttocks!

You've put together a nice "System" team but how do you leave Davey off of it ?? Besides, you took two of my players so how can we have the XBox Tournament ?? Players set screens for themselves I guess. LOL.

Ok, I didn't know we were playing an x-box tournament.....Arsenault & Isham then....LOL

See, this is exactly why farm girls should never be allowed computers. They add to their team without taking anyone off, then think there is actually going to be an XBox Tournament. LOL.

Well, I guess I need to explain in detail for you "to get it".....LOL  Since we had two of the same players (Horton and Kenny), I gave you those two players and replaced the w/ Arsenault and Isham.......IF there would happen to be an imaginary x-box tournament.......are you smoking wacky weed or what?  LMAO

...Pat Kenny will be one of the best point guards in the conf before hes done.

I totally agree.  I saw him play vs. Grinnell and I was TOTALLY impressed.  Great ball handler/passer and scrappy.  BC sure has something to build around with him ;D  Congrats to Vraney and staff for a nice win!

The 2 stats that really stand out to me in the LF game is to's and rebounding. BC actually shot better then LF but were crushed on the boards. Horton did play very well but they have no other insode presence.

Wimmer at 6'8" is a big disapointment.  with his size he should be domintating the boards, but rebounding is about desire as much as anything else and watching him play a few times this year he just cowers away from anykind of contact. he had zero boards in the LF game, that cant happen.

I witnessed Wimmer's play in HS....and he wasn't overly aggressive there either.  He had great size, but as you say...not much desire.  Horton and Wimmer could make for a nice duo...and really help a struggling team.  Also too bad that Dowden transferred.  Couldn't find a kid w/ a bigger heart for the game...he would've brought so much stability to the team this year.  Hopefully somebody will find a way to motivate Wimmer.....the season's still young ;D

So Carroll at GC on December 1st?  MWC Board gathering at The Rest say about 12:30-1:00??
I think I could make it.

I'm not saying no but I'll be fresh out of vacation days then. Any chance you could move the gathering to after the 1st of the year ??

Just remember if "Roop" makes the trip to GC, all must be on the lookout, because he's been known to "misbehave" out there in the cornfields of Iowa......and If I recall correctly, he had a little "snow storm" trouble during his last visit! LOL
