Next Wednesday should be a interesting start to Conf play with Hanover at Franklin and Manchester at Definace. I am interested to see how this year plays out. I think it is always a challenge to top Transy. Coach Todd is a great coach.

Titan, Thanks for that.  You would think Todd has garnered enough respect to have his name spelled correct.

Geesh HCAC   tough night?

And by the way, if you are going to call me out on spelling, let's do it with proper grammar..
Coach's name should be spelled correctly, with correct spelling.
Please correct me correctly ;) ;) ;D ;D

HOOPE FAN, Sorry I am late with this.  I guess I never said I was a English major.  However, I am pretty sure that Creal's name is spelled CORRECTLY on mac's website.  For several years you have spelled his named wrong.

I just read some of this discussion today.  Just for the record even though Neb Wesleyan is affiliated with both the NAIA and D3 they competed as a NAIA member last year.  This was due to the lack of d3 non conference games.

With ONU it sounds like they are going to hire their assistant to keep this style going.  They have a healthy following in the community that was not there before they started running this style.

Not to take away from all the great NCAA Tourney talk but what are the thoughts on the Augie Program?  Is it a untapped program?

RogK, it is not out of the norm for coaching contracts to be only 10 or even 9 months.  That is still considered full time.  The typical months that are off are June and July. You are correct most of the recruiting/eval is done in July and many camps are done in June and July. So, even though the contract reads 10 months the coach is often still working during those months.

What's going on at NCC?  Just a young team?

At the Nebraska Wesleyan Tourney is Webster, Luther, Concordia Morehead and NWU.  Luther won the Iowa Conference last year.

Hopefan,

Sue never officially worked at MacMurray. She was hired as the AD and then never officially arrived on campus.  I believe there was a personal reason for this.  Shelley Whitaker was the AD and Dane took over for her.

Also, Jason was just hired.  I would imagine a annoucement may come soon.  Jason will do a great job.  He had has done a great job of recruiting at NWU.  Remember that NWU is the only D3 school in the GPAC.  All the rest of the schools are NAIA Division II.

Wydown,

That is the correct Sue Hansen.  She was the AD/Women's Basketball Coach at Aleverno.

Hopefan,

Do some digging.  I will keep my lips shut for now.  The new Blackburn Coach will fit in very well with all the good strong coaches in the conference.

From a good source Blackburn does have a new AD and yes the basketball coach that was hired left for personal reasons.  They have already hired another basketball coach.

Is there a reason why the CCIW does not have a All Sports Trophy?
