I wouldn't call it worked? I dis like to work on the safety's,
but they need to step up on stopping these big plays. 10 plays = 3 scores?  :o
Well, if you can't stop them, the dutch are in trouble on the road.

5WOL, a viable explanation, and one I hope isn't true.

But, until proven otherwise, I still believe he was a fraud.
I hope you are right about being a fraud!!!!!  If this guy did play or Schip or Kac, I think they would both be sad.

Ok ok, so I said January when it was February. It doesn't make anything I have stated on this board any less true. Are there any current Central players on this board? I would love to here how you guys are doing!

At the U of Iowa and all schools in the IIAC except Central they spell that kind of "here" hear.
Actually, the grammar/spelling errors (I better not make one!) prove this is not a Central grad.  I would assume it is Klop (BV supporter having fun) or a Dubuque grad.   ;D

The problem is I think FB Daddy and Wartburg suffer from major Dutch envy...they just wish they had the tradition and the facilities. I can't wait to see what happens when the Knights are smote this year! GO DUTCH!

PS Yeah there is a signing day for D3, and yeah the Dutch be signin some players. Read the papers.
Oh brother........ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

I'm still holding out HOPE that this is a Wartburg fan posting undercover.....

I guess everybody can add a loss when they play Central this year! Recruiting is off the charts, good signing day probably...I could easily see us going undefeated this year in conference! Sorry Knights :-P

Welcome to the board. Perhaps, being new, you aren't familiar with D3 rules. There is no signing day in D3. As a Central backer, another term you may want to get familiar with is "quiet confidence". It's worked rather well for the Dutch over the years.
How do you know KnightSlayer101 is a Dutch backer??????  Maybe he/she just respects the tradition of Central!  ;D ;D ;D

Where is the best post-game food??? ... USA TODAY says Best  pizza in Iowa is at McCaffrey's - Decorah http://travel.usatoday.com/destinations/2010-11-04-pizza-parlors_N.htm
Interesting, but I'll still get Mabe's when I'm in Decorah..... :D

I could totally see during the last capital campain at Cornell they had a lot of donors telling them "ok, here's a check, but I want to see some wins...and soon"
Seriously, do you think big donors won't give to a small liberal arts school b/c the football team is bad???  This isn't the SEC, is it?

Maybe I'm way off base......

Cornell is the only school in the IIAC to have brought in more donations that the previous year, each of the past 4 years. That has coincided with the Rams going 1-31 in IIAC football action.  Here is how Cornell stacks up against the rest of the IIAC in donations over the prior 4 years...

Dubuque - $61,939,577
Coe - $46,396,122
Luther - $40,950,033
Cornell - $31,578,945
Central - $31,458,806
Wartburg - $24,667,796
Loras - $23,160,118
Simpson - $13,696,205
Buena Vista - $12,679,648
Not all donations are created equally.

Nice to hear Coach McMartin on 1460 this morning...also, the host encouraged football fans to go over to the Central/Wartburg b/c it would be a very good football game.

Due to strength of schedule, Coe won't stay as high as #4 and Central won't be as low as #10.  The question is, how far will Coe drop and how far will Central Climb.  Will Coe be able to stay high enough to get one of six at-large bids, that is the question.
Central won't climb IF they lose another game!  W/ Wartburg on the schedule and other quality IIAC opponents, there are NO guarantees Central wins out.

So if Wartburg, Central, and Coe all finish 7-1 in conference play, but for instance Wartburg beat both Central and Coe, they would get the AQ, even if their loss came to the worst team in the conference.

This scenario is impossible b/c Coe or Central would have at least 2 losses....Wartburg education.   ;D  If we are talking 6-2, then you are correct.

Nope, I can't get it to work either!
