Wild start to what seems to be a very unpredictable tournament.  MSV beat MSMC in extras on a walk off grand slam.

Any ideas for the championship round matchup ???

How about coach of the year? All Confernece team? Etc.

First Year Head Coach Brian Nigro from MSV.  Mount was picked second to last in the pre-season polls, and are in sole posession of 3rd place.  Looks like he brought in a few transfers, while dealing with the loss of a dominant freshman in Randy Battle.  Who knows, maybe they can pull a few upsets in the playoffs....

To answer my own question.  The regional is being held @ Farmnigdale.
Good to see some national recognition for the conference.  Well, at least for St. Joes.  Gerdes as a 2nd team All-American and i see they got a few national ranking votes.  I have a feeling it is going to be an exciting season for skyline fans

I think its a matter of what Dolphin Defence shows up to play.  No doubt they are going to score a lot of points with kids like Cooke and DiMaggio shotting all day.  They also got some good shooters off the bench too.  But yet again - they lack a big man.  And they lost Battle due to grades.

But, I cant wait to see the matchup between DiMaggio and Santana on the 17th.  Both are fenominal shooters, and can both play defence.

How far away from the campus is the Lakewood stadium?  Kean play every game there?

WOW. I think that may hurt their chances of making it to the tourney.  However it is a TEAM sport, but a powerful tall forward like Battle is certainly a game changer.

I think MSV played without ROY possibility, Randy Battle against Cetenary

Ralph,
I am not under the impression that it will be held at FSC, I simply heard some rumors about that- including some posts from different topics.  Just looking for some clarification.  But yes, if I hear anything - i will post it.

Anyone out there care to comment on the difference in the playing surfaces???

So, can we please set all of the confusion straight?
Even tho Old Westbury will be co-host, is the regoinal being held at Farmingdale?

Any word on how some of the teams are looking thus far?
Does anyone know whats really going on with the regoinals?  I understand Old Westbury/Skyline are co-hosting it, but is the tournament being held @ Jackie Robinson Stadium or Farmingdale State Stadium?
