SAINTSFAN:
Hopkins was 50/50 run vs. pass, but they keyed on the aggressiveness of the linebackers and would hit the dig route 9 times out of 10 when they would pass because the LB's could not get back in their zone to cover it in time.  #3 is a bruiser, but i'm sure he's spending some extra time in the training room today from all of the hits he took on Saturday.  Also, when #11 comes into the game at QB, watch for QB lead draw.  They are not unbeatable, but they are well coached and they have a sound game plan.

Congrats to H-SC for a great season!  Going 10-0 is no easy feat, but they did it and no one can take that away from them.  This will definitely help them in the recruiting race for next season!  On another note,  does anyone know if and or when D3 will have a full contact Spring session with a Spring game???

Good luck to the Tigers tomorrow...Take care of business and let's get past the first round this year.  Make the rest of the ODAC proud!

so if h-sc wins next weekend and catholic does too, does this mean that catholic and h-sc share the title???

tigerfanalso,  this week (W&L) and next week (Catholic) will be the tiger's biggest hurdles for the second half of their schedule.  They will have to play like their lives depend on the outcome for the rest of the season and it starts this weekend in lexington.  i have faith in my boys and i know they will get it done these next few weeks.  i am just hoping that they can win out and host a home playoff game because that will definitely play out to their advantage...GO TIGERS!!!

Congrats to H-SC for avenging last year's loss with a shutout victory over E&H...17-0!!! It has been a long time since H-SC has gotten a shutout and I'm proud of them and I hope they can continue to roll through their schedule unscathed.  TIGERS WIN!!!

I totally agree with you Allsky...I am absolutely positive that the Tigers are charged and ready to avenge last years loss to the Wasps.  The Tigers have something to prove and it starts tomorrow...You will see Marty Ball at its finest tomorrow starting at 1:00pm and you will also see a very hard hitting football game.  The Tiger D has something to prove to the rest of the country tomorrow because of last weeks slip up in the 4th quarter at BC.  I am confident that they will step up tomorrow and deliver a performance that fits their #24 ranking.  GO TIGERS!!!

Does anyone know how long it has been since H-SC has finished the regular season undefeated???

very glad to see the tiger's d step up yesterday and handle business.  as a former linebacker for the tigers, it was very tough preparing for jv in previous years because he is very good at getting rid of the ball when in trouble.  the tigers had a great game plan of pressuring him into bad situations, but he is still very good at throwing to the check down routes as we saw yesterday.  i mean, this kid is a great quarterback, but the tiger d proved to be too much for him in this game.  yesterday was a a big day for the tiger's d and i think this is what they need heading into stone station this coming weekend.  they will need to have momentum on their side because the H-SC/BC game is generally a shootout.  GO TIGERS!!!

Llamaguy,
thanks for the support today.  i never thought i'd see the stone station crew up in dover.  that shows how great the odac fan support is.  i just wanted to note that the tigers never backed down from those big boys and gave em' one heck of a fight.  congrats to the 2007 tigers for doing something that has taken 30 years to repeat.  also, i would like to congratulate them on winning the odac, which took 20 years to repeat.  see you guys next year.

I'm just saying, Pedro made something out of nothing by getting that down and out team back into contending for the ODAC Championship in just 4 short years.  That's pretty impressive.  Anyways, If Marty does win COY, I will be very happy for him because he does deserve it due to the fact that he got 2 big monkeys of his back this year (BC and the ODAC Championship).  I'm sorry if I upset you willierobin.  GO TIGERS!!!

Does anyone know when the ODAC All-Conference selections come out?  Olinemom-good choice on picking Drew Smith for POY.  IMO, I believe it will either go to him or Josh Simpson.  I also think that Coach Aruzza will get COY due to the fact that he took a program that was horrible in years past and turned them into something worth talking about.

Good luck to the Tigers in Dover, DE.  Wesley looks tough, but there has to be a kink in the armor somewhere.  We shall see soon enough.
