#11 Bridgewater State played at Western New England last night - they won 86-83, but it was ugly.  Bridgewater hardly used their bench at all and WNEC had 24 turnovers.  Not a good start for a ranked team.

Bridgewater had a great season last year, but for many seasons prior to that they have been only decent in a pretty bad conference.  Last year they had good leadership coupled with a nice coach which I believe led to their magical season.  I don't expect to see them in the top 25 list for long.

UMD is looking tough.

brandon shelton, umd.  preseason all american team!!  lets give the man some love, hes going to have a big season.

I am hoping to see Brandon Shelton from UMD on the preseason all-american team.  I felt he should have received postseason honors last year, but somehow slipped under the radar.

He scored 549 points (17.7ppg) last year on a team that advanced to the sweet 16.  Lets get him on the list!!  Definitely a player to watch!

Babson, with McDonald playing well, is capable of beating any team in the newmac.  I do not believe that their record reflects how good their team really is.  They play one of the toughest out of league schedules in the country with games against Trinity, Brandeis, Wash U, Chicago, and Amherst.  With the exception of Brandeis, all of these were very close games.  If these guys realize their potential and if Kyle McDonald keeps playing the way he has, they definitely have a shot at the newmac title.  I think Kyle McDonald could be the newmac p.o.y. if the beavers can come out on top.

i think elms is going to take down brandeis.
