Keene off to a slow start. 3-7 and playing Clark today. Team has been scoring a ton of runs, but most era's on team are over 5.
Hopefully they can right the ship with two games at UMB to start the year

I'm pretty sure that is eastern university in pa. I was referring to eastern ct state in the LEC. Sorry I should have been more specific.

Awesome to see umb and southern maine and babson all 2-0. The quest for two lec teams in The world aeries is still alive! Be cool if babson can take thier region as well. Soon new england will rule the world!
Good luck to the teams today.

Two games of the New England Regional were moved to UMB/BC high field. Anyone know why? Works out well for the Beacons to open up tournament play at home

Two new england teams took the bus down to PA. Babson had a very good year in New England and I hope to see them a good run deep into the regional. Castleton is the weaker of the two new england teams and will have their work cut out for them in this tough regional.

Southern Maine struggled down the stretch and went two and out in the LEC tournament. I hope they can turn it around and have a good showing in the regional. Dont sleep on Amherst. They came out of a very good NESCAC this year and might be that sneaky team that makes a deep run. Good luck to everyone, and go New England teams!

Hello gents came on over here from the New England boards as a couple of teams from new england are playing in NY and a couple of NY teams are playing over in the NE regional.
Oswego will have their work cut out for them in New England as I feel that is a tougher regional than NY. Umass Boston is scary good, and they are literally playing 45 minutes from their home. I dont know a lot about Oswego who would be good players to watch for as they play in the regional. I would say good luck to NY teams but I am new england homer and want two new england teams to make the world series so go Southern Maine, Amherst and Westfield.

The New England region has been invaded by out of region teams!
Oswego/keystone/Ramapo/Penn State Berk all are up on the cape with USM/Amherst/Westfield in NY and Babson and Castleton in Penn.
Seems like a big mix in the regional s this year. It seemed like in years past usually they would try to keep teams in region to cut down on travel costs and what not, but this year seems more mixed up than ever. I kind of like the ability to see some new teams that you dont normally get to see, so I am excited for the region. Obviously I am LEC biased so go UMB and USM in NY. Be cool to get two LEC teams in the world series.

New England Teams that are in on autobids:
Castleton- NAC
Mitchell- NECC
Babson- NEMWAC
Suffolk-GNAC
CCC- Salve or WNEC
Little East- Day 2 of the tournament
NESCAC- Getting under way Tufts, Amherst, Bates or Wes
LEC looking maybe two teams with UMB and Southern Maine nationally ranked. Babson was getting votes but won NEWMAC and got automatic.
I know I missed a league who was it? Who do you guys think will get shipped out?

USM goes down to RIC
If USM goes out early will that kill their pool C bid? Last polls had them in top 25 around 22/23 i think. I would imagine that is good enough to get them in, but if they and UMB both dont win the tournament could that leave them out looking in? OR is the LEC strong enough to get 3 teams in as UMB and USM are nationally ranked and could get pool C bids if say Eastern or RIC win the tournament.

I was looking at the LEC standings and Keene and UMD are currently tied in the 6th spot which is the last spot for the LEC tournament. They play this weekend so essentially its the stat of the LEC tournament as they are playing to get in. How does the tie breaker work if they split? Is it overall record or is it record vs top seeds?
I guess im asking does Keene need to sweep UMD to get into the tournament?
