just wondering if anyone knows the names of the refs who officiated the games today?

Yellow Jackets Fans,

Turn out the lights. The party is over! Too bad. Make some excuses and we'll see ya next year.

For all of you memory-challenged," astute" observers of the game:  the system has beaten the beloved "real" basketball teams of every ODAC conference member with the exception of Guilford . The system beat Greensboro twice this year (yes, the same Greensboro team that beat Guilford ).  E&H deviated from the system as the year progressed and abandoned it entirely during the latter part of the year.  It is difficult to value the opinion of those who do not (or are unable to) pay attention.

He and E&H got exactly the shot the opposition wanted them to take? So they wanted them to avg 105? It seems to me that they would want them to take more difficult shots, or not get any shots, for that matter. If Bubba Smith had his way, he would have given the other guys the shots and given the shooters no shots, which is why the HSC assistants held up cards with shooters' numbers on them, b/c they didn't want them to shoot.

Also, this isn't baseball. These guys aren't on 'roids. They play within the same rules, with the same bad refs. It will only be viewed skeptically by close-minded individuals, such as yourself. I should expect nothing less from a Sydney fan. Classy, classy, classy!

OK, so let me get this straight. Chris Lofton, who many consider to be the best shooter in the country, but shoots only 38 % from 3, for the season, is in fact not the best b/c he shoots under 40 %. Is that right?

For the record, shooting 35% from 3, is like shooting 70 % from 2, which nobody does. King shoots 40% from 3, but only takes 6 shots/game, while Weinz takes more than double that number.

The last thing I'm going to say is that he broke a big record and should be recognized for it. Just as Strong will be recognized, if he breaks the ODAC scoring record, for a season or for his career, both of which belong to Emory and Henry players.

That's the problem Scott.

There are too many homers on this site. Tell me how LC finishes last and has a 1st teamer and Emory finishes ahead of them and has nobody on anyone's predicted  teams. The only reason this is, is because there are no Emory fans on this site. All I wish is that people would talk about the best without such a biased opinion.

Who cares a bit about %? Ben Strong is the best scorer in the league. No one can argue that. But he's not even in the top 5 in FG % or the top 10 in FT %. What's your explanation for that?

Actually JJ did a lot more than shoot. He came in only being able to shoot, and turned himself into a heck of a college player. But, your statistics proved my point. Weinz shoots only 3's, which would make him very easy to guard if he were an average or even above average set shooter. However, he is a great jump shooter, ask any coach in the league. Thanks for proving my point. He put up points against some of the best teams in the country(ODAC), playing half the minutes.

It's also ignorant to make a comment about him playing for somebody else. He plays for Emory and broke a major record, he deserves to be mentioned with the league's best.

If "all he does is shoot 3's", then it should be very, very easy to defend him. He is the best jump shooter in the league, bar none.

All you guys are talking about Prehmus and his outside shooting. How about Camillo Weinz breaking the ODAC single season record for 3 ptrs. made. He made 105 this season, breaking Jeff Taylor's(RMC) record of 101.

He gets no recognition from many on this site, especially when talking about those deserving of All-ODAC this season. He averaged 29 ppg. vs. Guilford(the ODAC's best) this year, and still nobody mentioned him.
Yes, it's true, the Wasps don't have the best defense. However, it's not like their opponents let them score. Everyone knows he can shoot it, as well as Rob Hudson, who finished the year with 83 3's made. They are still able to score against anyone.

Thoughts?
