That is true but Whitewater is further away from a majr city then Concordia. Also with some planning. I am sure they could keep the cops in Whitewater busy keeping people away. I mean it is the summer and the cops won't be busting any underage drinking parties at that time of year.
You would think being closer to a big city like Milwaukee would attract more people then being in a small town like Whitewater where the biggest city is about 50 miles away.

After looking at past articles about the choices that the rams had. The one thing that Concordia has that Whitewater doesn't is air conditioned dorms.
If you have ever tried to sleep in a whitewater dorm in the dead of summer it is very uncomfortable.

I wonder what exactly it was that made the Rams to pick little old concordia over UW-Whitewater,as the Wahawks have and always  bragg about having some of the best facilities in the country.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel this morning it looks like the St. Louis Rams are getting close to a dealto make Concordia in Mequon their next home for training camp.

Thats pretty cool that Owen Schmit will be on the cover of NCAA 09. I remember him his freshman year at UWRF. He was a beast.

Okay,
I stand corrected. I did not realize so many players some who I do recognize mainly kickers that made it from AFL1 and AFL2.
I feel that there are too many arena leagues though,as the Bone crushers are not in AFL1 or 2.
However I wish captainkurt and the rest of the coaches of the Bonecrushers the best of luck as they try and correct the mess that Gilber Borwn and his clowns made. I saw one game on Tv and Whitewater high school could have beaten them that day.
However that was before the new staff took over and Razor decided to continue his football career while finishing his college education.

Your contradictions are staggering.  What about the semi-pro baseball, hockey, etc and farm teams.  Many sports have different levels and opportunities to play just below pro level.   So your arguement is that in football only, it should be the NFL or bust?

In Baseball the minor league teams are part of a Major league organization. Just like NHL teams have minor league teams, that they can pull players up from when needed, and therefore the players in the minor's contracts are owned by a major league franchise.
Know if the bone crushers were a minor league team for the Bears and The contracts were owned by the Bears and they could call Razor up to replace Rex Grossman in the middle of the season it would be different. However that's not the case. Same goes for the outdoor semi pro football leagues. The Wolf pack is not a minor league team for the Packers. Know there have been a few exceptions in arena league ball such as Kurt Warner. However there are so many different Arena leagues, I don't even know which one Kurt Warner, and a few other players who made it to the NFL came from and which one they didn't.
Like I said Football is very unique as they don't have a minor league farm system, and it's only suppose to be played for a certain amount of years unless you have enough talent to ake it to the Big Show aka the NFL. So yes in football it's NFL or Bust.
Okay know onto a more important topic Any news about Justin Beaver, or is it time to realize that the Packers are not going to signing him to a contract. >:( >:( >:( >:(

Just have to get BB's opinion on Outdoor/Indoor Lacrosse. Since it is Canada's National Sport, and they play both indoor (Box) Lacrosse, which has made it's way to the USA in the form of the MLL. and the outdoor game is played in high school, college and the NLL. Which is "fake?"
I have honestly have never watched indoor Lacrosse. Lacrosse is a tough sport. you have to run aound with a little round ball and a bunch of guys trying to take your head off with a stick, and only a helmet and shoulder pads protectiong you.
Also Football has always be unique to me as you can only play it for so long normally from 4th o5 th grade until your senior year in college, and then it's over unless you get drafted and make the NFL like Derek Stanley or Pierre Garcon or anyone else in the league, where it's your living. It's not like Baseball or Basketball that you can just call up your buddies and go play.
Thats where I have my problem with the arena leagues and everything else. It's not there living it's a bunch of guys who just can't realize that their football careers are over.

Well as a true believer in Mr. Beaver I still have to keep the faith that the Packers pick Justin as the 80th man on the roster for the summer.

Old Indian I was being trying to be Sarcastic(sp) hint hint the smile faces.
So has anyone heard if Beaver ever got a contract from the packers or not??

I will give you Kurt Warner but he did not play for Iowa while he was playing in the NFL. Maybe he was but I don't remember it.

It's just like how the soccer people think that indoor soccer is not real soccer. As real soccer is meant to be played outdoors.
As it football.
The only difference is some of the same people who play outdoor soccer also play indoor soccer when the outdoor season is over. Some even say it the majority of indoor soccer players play indoor because they can't hack it in the outside game. I don't care either way as soccer is a communist sport. ;D ;D ;D
Know if thatw as the case and Brett Farve or any NFL player played arena and then went to play for the packers. I may think differently about it. Otherwise to me it's fake football, and I am sticking to it. Do I respect the guys who play it yes,but to say it's real football your kidding yourself NFL players&coaches do not have other jobs. The players & coaches in arena football do.

Okay the NFL teams that play indoors is different it's the NFL people.
I agree with the fact that it's not real because football is to be played with 11 players on each side of the ball on the playing field at a time.
Like I said I was expressing my opnion "IT'S NOT REAL FOOTBALL"
It's just my opnion and I am sticking to it.

Football is meant to be played outside not indoors. Sorry thats just my opnion on that arena football league.
Know the wolfpack thats prety good football, and is played outside like football is meant to be played.
Like I said it's just my opnion.Just like Voice calls people from Illinois flat landers.

I just saw on the Royal Purle which is the official student newspaper for UW-Whitewater has this on their website.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that the Green Bay Packers will not sign UW-Whitewater running back Justin Beaver. However, there has been no official word from the Packers organization or the university.
I am hoping that this is incorrect but is correct. It has been a great four years of watching Justin Beaver and to just make it to the real professional football  leagues team rookie mini camp  especially with all of the fake ones around is an accomplishment in it's self.
Congrats Justin and good luck in whatever you decide to do.
I am still a beaver believer.
