For hoopdreams, I watched Hope and CU on Monday night. Just like you, I don't put much stock in summer ball. Hope was missing Bowser, but everybody else was there. Holwerda impressed me the most. The kid has bulked up. CU had 7 guys, 2 of which are kids that will be on JV. Kelvin DeVries and Brian Pasciak didn't play for CU.

Nate Snuggerud of Zeeland East East to Hope College. Watched him play at Cornerstone's open gym today. Nice get for Hope. Will need to beef up if he wants to hang with the big boys

Snuggs from Zeeland East is leaning towards Cornerstone right now. Will not make a final decision until they are done with the tournament.

It is good to see Andy Vennema decided to keep playing for Hope. 2 weeks ago he wasn't sure he wanted to play anymore. GVW gave Andy two days off to decide if he wanted to be part of the team. With Snikkers gone, Vennema and Nelis will need to step it up.

Rumor has it, Hope will be opening up the season against Oakland University. Peter Bunns old school. Pete would like to go to Hope, but hasn't been accepted yet. I am sure Glenn will find a way for him to get into Hope.
