Hey Pride!! How's everyone doing? I must say, I'm looking forward to the season but a little sad that this will be the final season for SC in the E8.

Hey Pride! The SC staff has been selected to coach the D3 Senior Classic. Does anyone know about this game?

Glad that my first trip back to AU was to see a Saxon victory... Especially since it was against IC...

Definitely a strange year with St. Lawrence getting the bid at 4-5.  It's funny that St. Lawrences achilles seemed to be the E8 this year while AU's achilles was the LL...

So what are the thoughts on the playoff matchups? Obviously a week early but any predictions out there?

As long as an E8 team doesn't lose to an NEFC team, I will be pretty happy.

Hey guys. Is there any chance at all for SC to make the playoffs?

Does anyone have a link to photos of the Merrill Field after the renovations? Just curious to see how it came out...

Ithaca Bombers 34

Springfield Pride 19

SC's weak schedule gets exposed...

Like the outcome, but not sure IC's offense is that prolific...

IC 23
SU 19

Bombers get a 4th down stop late in the game to seal it, and keep their winning season hopes alive

I could see a 28-20 IC victory...

Hopefully for IC they made a couple tweeks to their offensive philosophy...

In other words, chuck it early and often and then hope to catch them off guard with the run...

SC- 24
IC- 13

HEY PRIDE

When are we going to see a Springfield vs WNEC game? Just throwing that out there.

Why in the world would you want to??  What does Springfield have to gain in that matchup?

I think rivalry games are great for both the programs and for the community

I think I'll start making my posts like this so that they're more cumbersome to read and therefore my posts will be regarded with more esteem. Why hasn't anyone responded to my ECACs post? Besides Upstate. Upstate, i think I don't take you seriously because you don't like baseball... oh by the way, AlfredSaxon8 is still making no sense.

HAHAHA!

I think Fisher is going to exploit Ithaca's secondary. I don't think we'll see a blowout though. 35-24 Fisher

I'm definitely a little late on this but I was pretty impressed with Utica last night, at least offensively. If a couple of things went differently, we could be talking about a 5-0 Pioneer team. At this point I'll issue my official apology to UC for doubting them. Looking forward to watching them play on Alden Street in 2 weeks. Hey Pride!

My Week 4:

Wilkes 28 Pootica 13 - Can't use the SC game as bench mark. Triple option is really hard to stop especially when its the first time seeing it. A pee wee team could hang 50+ on Becker and Castleton.

That "Pee-Wee" team hung 42 on RPI last weekend. Wilkes, correct me if I'm wrong, also allowed 35 points and 452 yards to Waynesburg in Week 1. So I'm not exactly sold that Wilkes could stop anyone. Wilkes' offense didn't exactly look impressive putting up 190 yards last week either

Never called Utica a pee wee team, just downplayed their recent scoring explosion.

RPI (1-1) is weak- squeaked by endicott by 3 pts. Becker (0-3)- outscored 154-32 in their first 3 games, enough said. Castleton (1-1)- 2nd year program playing with mostly underclassmen.

My Week 4:

SC 31 AU 14 - Pride rolls. They finally seem to have defense that doesn't require the offense to win shootouts.

Wilkes 28 Pootica 13 - Can't use the SC game as bench mark. Triple option is really hard to stop especially when its the first time seeing it. A pee wee team could hang 50+ on Becker and Castleton.

Fisher 35 Bart 17- Fisher is Fisher

IC 24 Lycoming 7 - Don't know much about either team. But I give the edge to Coach Welch's gang.

Any thoughts on the SC-AU game? PrideFan thinks SC rolls: 31-14. Bold, I know.
