For sleepers sake, expect steven echols to be big this year while playing under a new system for an ENTIRE YEAR instead of half a year. That should return him into freshman year form while maybe even getting better

Because I think he is really going to struggle being by himself, his shooting percentages will probably drop off dramatically!

Justin Short is a very good player but he is way too undersized to ever be a high scorer (over 20 a game), in the ODAC on a Championship winning team. He could do it if he was the #1 option but the pg shouldn't be your #1option for scoring.

THis is also what i found online.....
Greensboro, N.C. (4/28/08) - Guilford College senior Ben Strong concluded play at the 2008 Collegiate Basketball Invitational Tournament Friday. Strong averaged 12.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in three contests for the MBM Logistechs squad that placed sixth in the eight-team tournament.
Ben StrongStrong was one of 64 college seniors from the NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and the NAIA levels selected for the event held April 24-26 in Wadsworth, Ohio. Eight teams of eight players each played three games in two days at Wadsworth High School. An all-star team was chosen from the participants, and the all-star game was televised live April 26 on ESPNU. Strong was not selected to an all-star team. In 2007, 18 of the 20 all-stars were offered professional contracts.
One of seven Division III students in the field, Strong shot a team-best 55.6 percent from the floor and averaged 2.3 assists and 1.7 blocks over three games. He ranked fourth in the tournament in blocks per game and 28th in points per game. After scoring two points in MBM Logistechs' opening-round 95-78 loss to tourney runner-up Louis Perry & Associates, he bounced back with 14 points and eight boards in his team's 96-87 victory over Wadsworth-Rittman. Strong netted a team-high 21 points on nine-of-11 shooting from the floor in MBM Logistechs' 125-99 loss to Renacci-Doraty Chevrolet in the fifth-place game. He added five rebounds and three assists in the contest.
A two-time first-team All-American and Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Player of the Year, Strong concluded his Guilford career in March ranked second in school history with 2,241 points. He helped coach Tom Palombo's club to the 2007-08 ODAC regular-season and tournament titles as well as NCAA Division III Tournament appearances in 2007 and 2008.

And by the way, to all this D1, D3 nonsense. Almost all of the starters in the ODAC could AT LEAST walk on to a D1 team somewhere, being most likely a low d1, it happens all of the time. A kid for RMC went to Tennessee and walked on their. A kid from LC walked on to Longwood and may even get minutes this upcoming year. The reason why a lot of guys don't get the look to go D1 is not because of their skill, but because of their height. Adair was a beast in the post, but do you really think he could of gotten recruited over a 6 10 less skilled kid. It's tough to be as good as an Adair, Parkes, Wooldridge, and even Strong when he first came out of high school and NOT play. Everyone wants to play so these lower d1 kids go down to d3 and play the game for the love and not for the accolades!

Even though the hornets may have a lot of talent, it will take the players time to adjust to the new coach. Look for them to heat up for the 2nd half of the season.......Randolph Macon will be tough to beat with the best point guard in the league.
