On the D3 MAC Freedom standings, they list Arcadia as being in that division which i believe is in error .
Thanks

Anyone have any information on Misercordia?

Been ranked between 10th and 15th this season, beat shenandoah 2 times early in season , and lost to Cortland late in season 4-2.  Play in Freedom conference and came out of the losers bracket the last 2 seasons in a row to win the conference title.  Very confident hard nosed group that support each other very well-  good pitching, great defense, and timely hitting.!

Boy I will agree on this being a good regional.  This regional being only a six team tourney still has the most top 25 ranked teams.  The south currently has five top 25 teams in CNU,Salisbury,Shenandoah,Lynchburg and Rowan.  That is two more than any other regional in the tournament.  It is funny how one of the smaller regionals got stuck w/ the most ranked teams per tourney site.   Should be fun to watch.
Because many fans complain about the weaker conferences in other parts of the country that do not have a team "worthy" of getting a tourney bid, sometimes to their perceived detriment of letting their favorite team get a "do-over" Pool C bid.

There are no such conferences in this part of the country.

Here is the last team in each Regional that was a Pool C bid.  The number of teams in each bracket is given.

Central/6                   IWU #6  (These are about the only 6 teams that could be bussed to Memphis.)
Mid-Atlantic/8            Neumann #5
Mideast/8                  St John Fisher #4
Midwest/8                 Concordia-Chicago #5
New England/8           Bowdoin #7
New York/6               Misericordia #4
South/6                    Rowan #4
West/6                     Trinity TX #2

Alll of the remaining seeds in each bracket is Pool A (Automatic Qualifier).
. I believe Misericordia was an automatic bid not a pool c - no?

LordCharles..Is anyone going to give your Bulldog boys any competition this year :D....Did they bring in any transfers or quality young guys that you know? I see King's made a ton of errors in their first game but thats expected early on. Is this the year Eastern breaks into the conference playoffs and makes some noise? Guess we shall see!

i havent gotten a chance to see any practices but I do know they are pretty much intact from last year.  And last year they had several freshman who now have had a year of college baseball and college workouts.  They will have a real test out of the gate playing Kean next week and then down to Texas to play Trinity and a few other Tx squads.  Trinity will have about 15 games under their belt while these guys are outside for the first full week of games!   Trinity has a video feed so although I cant go to San Antonio this year I will watch that on video as well as the game this week with Kean which should have a video feed.   Just happy to watch the snow melt and get started! Good luck to the Dogs and everyone else out here this season! Play Ball!

I count 3 players from Keystone selected - Arbello, Lara and Groff.

They mention Sean Murphy P also on the Keystone College website.  I didnt see him listed on the roster though.

Congrats to the DeSales Bulldogs on their Freedom Regular Season Championship.  For a team that wasn't even mentioned in the Mid Atlantic Freedom Conference Preview, they did pretty well!

Two exciting wins yesterday against FDU !
