The only disdain now is Vosberg vs Foster. Not much of a rivalry any more.

As far as a rivalry, Fisher football players would agree that it is Alfred

Best Fisher effort since Ithaca '08. Baily is okay, but what was he doing in the game with a forty plus point lead. Special teams were great. Defense came to play, the Fisher D ends were very aggressive. Kudos to Coach Parks, excellent game plan, great play calling. Need to get the ball to TE Marcus Miles over the middle. Too many dumb penalties. The recivers need to know the plays and formations. More Zemantis vs. U of R ?

Lots of good posts this week about Fisher football. Defintely a lack of a desire on and off the field vs MUC. This being my 4th Fisher, MUC game I thought Fisher would put together a game plan that would be more competitive. Mistakes do happen, good coaching and the ability to make adjustments should of kept this a good match-up. Yes Fisher looked good against the run, but MUC could of put up a seventy if the continued to pass. Even the tight ends were wide open. Hopefully they will be prepared to play this week vs Buff State.

I was excited until I read the article in the D&C , Coach Vos goal is to win the E8.
I was hoping it would be to win them all. I was hoping for some passion and intensity, not only from the players but also from the coaching staff. I don't want to hear the coaches in the press box yelling and screaming down to the field like last year. Looking for some players to step up and be leaders this year. Take the team by the balls and keep them fired up for 60 minutes. If the players are not doing their job, give someone else a chance. The defense will be fine, the big question is the offense. There is no backup QB, this team will go as far as the offense takes them.
2009 Fisher 5 wins 4 losses. Really, were are the easy games.

The Distillery on Winton rd has great food, cold beer and lots of tv's. It is easy to get to from Fisher, leave Fisher west on 490 to 590 south only 15 minutes max.

Rochester to Mt Union 4 1/2 hours, Rochester to Bangor, Maine 10+ hours. Mt Union will travel Friday. The only thing Ralph Wilson did for Fisher is let them use his name for a building. Robert Wegman gave Fisher the money to upgrade so they could lure the Bills to the Rochester market.

Robby Brown did not show up for spring ball, Luke Herrington is transferring to Ithaca. The game plan is to throw more than last year, Its pass to set up the pass.
Still only 9 games for 09.

1 or 2 players from Springfield are coming to Fisher in 09, also a transfer from Albany is commited to Fisher. Fisher has been recuiting kids from Iona since they dropped football. An all NYD3 football will make D3 football that much stronger.

As of today, Fisher has only 9 games for '09, it is the same schdule as 08, minus Norwich. There are no takers to fill the opening at the D3 or D2 level. The time is now for the New York D3 football schools to form a football only conference. The savings would be huge. It is just a matter of time that Springfield will leave the E8. There are less schools playing football in 09 than 08, a trend that will continue.

This will give the answer away. How many players need to be in the backfield to run a legal play?

Memo to E8; So Fisher attacked the middle of the field twice out of 90 plays. Whoa! I do not think that Fisher RB's/ TE's caught 10 balls over the middle all year. Not that they caught 10 balls I don't think 10 plays were called. Tim Marion is a route runner who is at his best over the middle because of this skill to break tackles, until Alfred Tim was not a focus of the Fisher passing game this year. My comment about pass eff was WHO CARES! And no, Hamel was not given a chance, Fisher jerked around with the kickers all year, gave Robbie Brown chances but Hamel got zip. Since my term for a foward pass behind the line of scrimmage was not what you saw on Sport Center, I have a question for you of your credibility. By rule, the offense needs what to have how many players in the backfield, and why ?
