thanks for correcting me on baseball...as for newbury...being 4th or 5th....I guess you have never seen them play before in person....I would place them ..at least 6th...heck...they got a cushy schedule while playing those very weak Maine teams  in the Independant Championship...way to pump up those wins....as for academic standards....I guess US News is wrong in saying "less selective" which means .....as long as you have money we will take you in....as for the WBB...its going to be another exciting year....

well...baseball is not going to be a GNAC sport until more schools offer it ...(fat chance)  ...there volleyball team is ok....heck ..who do they play that is any good....heck ...there biggest win is against...Wentworth, Newbury, or ....Lasell....I think they are not going to offer as much as people think....but I know these schools are not as ....solid academically ....so...basically ...its bad news for GNAC......

BTW ...where the heck ...is THE BIG MAN.....oh thats right ....SVC got thrown of the conference.....btw ...does anyone know what sports teams are good at ST Joseph of Maine, Mt Ida and Lasell....I hope they bring ..something to the table when they join...the conf next year....   

wow....its nice to be back...posting.....I think the Saints are going to be very hungry this year......but people dont even realize how tough it is to repeat as conference champions...in fact when is the last time Coach Y has lost 2 consecutive conference titles.....hmmmmm .... ..... 

I do know ...that Jamahl...does not recruit by himself...I do understand the recruiting aspect ...of D3 schools...

WNEC and Norwich want to get out ...because athletically...the other conferences have more variety in sports.  It makes sense in that aspect.  Not all of the schools in GNAC have the money to support that many sports.  You can't blame Emmanuel because the other schools do not do a good job recruiting.  I think Emmanuel is going to get stronger.  Ever since they went co-ed, each sport is has made great strides.  Every team has there up and down times....so enjoy yours while you can ... 

Volleyball is an up and coming sport and is covered from east to west....and there are a few men's teams on the east coast....

Emmanuel has some depth ....that freshman from NY can shoot....Jamahl has done a very good job in recruiting and  ...they are only going to get better.....

I think the saints are playing better ....but I still think Salem has there number.....I have been at many of those games over the last 15+ years....personally I dont think they have the interior passing or enough outside shooting to really go far .....but they have enough firepower to beat up on the GNAC .....

Don't you know that Salem state has Emmanuel's number ........I wouldnt worry about that game ...as winning the conference is more important while ...building momentum into the playoffs.  the game against ...Norwich was pretty interesting as Emmanuel looked sluggish in the first half and Norwich took advantage.....but once Andy started turning up the heat with the press...Norwich had problems...and I think that press at the end...really..caught them off guard....and that was a helluva shot ..to win it ,,,at the end ...
