Quoteand I don't mean any of this as hostile or to offend the Rat fans/players

Anderson did not perform in McMinnville much like UPS Lee could not. Woo is the key, so it is written.

The difference between Anderson and Lee is that Lee got all his yards against second team defenses because UPS was usually out of the game by the second half. UPS kept giving him the ball even when the game was out of hand. Anderson on the other hand plays against first team defenses year long and if whitworth gets up they take him out. Lee carried UPS but took them nowhere. Anderson carries whitworth toward wins.

As for playing against Linfield (here it is kitties! A compliment!) Linfields D always plays  tough run defense regardless of who it is.

*Argue*Bicker*Slander*Finger-pointing* Beware Kitties! Sounds like Linfield will begin to burn from inside out!

I'm pretty sure we've handled a couple of "down" years in the last 53...Most years your rats are thrilled with 6 wins!   ::)

Then again all you do is complain

Spirit, I think you're going to get roasted on this one, I don't think it's time to start calling for Joe's job...yet.  And I don't think you're quite accurate with Locey either.  When Brett came to town Locey was coming off four straight conference titles and had only lost two conference games in four seasons...

Locey didn't make the playoffs until the 5th season.  Now that being said, what I do find alarming is the absolute lack of fundamentals.  The turnovers have gone from kind of a flukey, one season deal, to a trend;  we are now known for turning the football over.  Locey's non-playoff teams didn't turn it over 18 times in three games and they won games instead of losing them on special teams.  The fact that they don't do the basics well makes me nervous.

I posted in a bit of haste, but downtown made my pts for me. The early Locey teams were great, but not champions. These Smith teams are lazy and inept.

I do not care if I am roasted because I am right. Smith needs to get gone and anyone who denies it needs to put down the purple kool-aid. Turnovers, dumb plays, losing to rivals we routinely beat-down. When will it stop??? Not until Smith is gone.

I apalogize to Coach Locey- he could motivate. Joseph? Not sure.

QuoteI remember 2005 at the rat house when they get REALLY inventive and called the butcher gay.

Wow is right!  You are complaining about that.  Have you never been to a game at Linfield? (rhetorical) You know, the field where they put the biker gang folks on the visitor sideline to drop f-bombs and p-words (syn. for Cat by the way) - just to name a couple - all day long?  Kinda makes the conference's sportsmanship PA announcement into a joke.
Agreed! Those groupies say a lot of mean things.

Whitworth has a chance! The pirates always play Willamette tough look at  prior games they are always down to the wire. Whitworth has some obstacles to overcome but who knows what will happen.

is it too much to ask for the bucs to come back in the 2nd half :-\

Here's to the the Rats getting their heads handed to them this weekend!  Tough call for me since I hate Redlands almost as much but it's tough to call that one a rivalry...

Hello one and all! First thing first, the Rats have been looking foward to this game all year and everyone in the Pirate Circle has been waiting for this game. If the dogs come out flat this weekend Redlands might be the ones walking away with a little more than their heads in thier hands.

As for a rivalry, I know for a fact people up in the pine hate Redlands for dodging Whitworth last year in the playoffs. And Redlands hates Whitworth for beating them 3 out of 4 years. If thats not a rivalry then what is.
