Tough to say Colby's D isnt as good as it usually is when they are 3rd in the nation in run defense or were before Saturday, regardless they are a top 10 run defense in the country. Thats a pretty going D, I think i saw some stat saying they held Hammy and Bates to a combined -1 yard rushing! Pretty absurd if that is true. I kno  those teams arent great but still you figure they could get 1 yard.

One of the reasons this league is great is because you really never know what is going to happen in any game, this year has proved that. Is it just me or is Bowdoin the most inconsistant team ever, I can never figure them out.  They drop 50 on Midd the 1st game and seem like they are going to be a challenger this year, then they lose to Tufts, and Wes and Bates, teams they should beat and score against easily.  Cant figure them out. I guess they dont travel well, they are 0-4 on the road this year.

Good for Bates getting a win.  Which means a lot coming from a former Mule.

Kinda awesome that the league title comes down to the biggest little game in America.

Wow at least 4 QBs - Middlebury's, Trinity's, Bowdoin's, and Wesleyan's (couldnt see stats for the other games) with 50 pass attempts or more WOW.  Not too long ago this used to be a defensive league and a running dominated league.

Its Addazio's job if he wants it, hes a new haven area native and very well liked , Clawson was in the running early but stepped out

Anyone else think John Lawrence from Hamilton should have been first team?

Interesting weekend in the NESCAC i got 3 of 5 wrong although maybe would have covered with my MIDD pick

Week 6 picks (wow already week 6)

BOWDOIN over WESLEYAN - I think Bowdoin is better than they're record and wesleyan isnt

MIDD KIDS over TRINITY-  Oh yea im calling it, The Streak in the Coop ends Saturday, if it doesnt Trin will go undefeated, good QB battle, if Midd can go up early maybe they can sneak it out, but their defense sucks so not likely they can hold Trinity. My Game of the Week (oh and McGrath is my POY forget stats the kid gets the job done in the clutch, whats more valuable than that? No one is more valuable to their team, no team would have worse drop off losing that one player)

THE JUMBOS over AMHERST - Gotta say the Tufts win last week shocked me, how did they lose to bowdoin? I've always thought they never played up to their potential.  Forde is good tho, Golden Helmet winner this week

COLBY over THE BOBKITTENS - First leg of the CBB, How about the Mules Mr. Johnny-on-the-Spot SS Tom Daley leads THE NATION in fumble recoveries, with a pick and leading his team in tackles too, gotta toss his name in the defensive POY talk, one time d3football national team of the week honors, two time nescac player of the week, and an ECAC player of the week to boot, strong resume

WILLIAMS over HAMILTON - No surprise here, i dont think, Williams should be pissed after last week and looking to beat up on somebody

WEEK 5 Picks

EPHS over JUMBOS - Should be a good game, the two best RBs in the league head to head

TRIN-TRIN over THE POLAR BEARS - Could be a close game, Bowdoin's defense is good, Trinity's O takes a while to get going (as of late at least)

MIDD over THE BOBCATS - Unless McKillop's arm fell off the Panthers shouldnt have problem in this game....and even if it did

LORD JEFFS over WESLEYAN - Wesleyan is having a long year after, from what i heard, their four best players got hurt in the first game and are out for the year.

COLBY over HAMMIE - This is my game of the week, if Eck is out then maybe its a different story, Snickenberger is a good RB, one of those tough kids who looks exhausted the entire game but never lets up

What an ending in hartford, McGrath's insane scramble and throw for a TD and the XP wins it wow......game of the year?
#11
Tufts strikes first but fumbled XP could be the difference
#12
McGrath is incredibely comfortable in the 2 minute drill

Guess my game of the week pick was wrong....Tufts punter may have just won them the game with a BOMB to the trin 10

Tufts just picked it right back on the second play start of 4th Q
