Illinois College Sophomore Point Guard Dillon Binkley finished 3rd at the NCAA Division III Indoor Nationals in the High Jump at 6'8 3/4" on Saturday.  Congratulations to Dillon on going from basketball season straight to track.  Dillon only participated in two meets before nationals.  What a great accomplishment!

I had the privelage to coach Ryan Connolly in an All-Star game last Spring.  He is a really nice kid who works very hard.  If he can get conditioned, he could be a nice CCIW player.  He has nice touch and definitely knows how to throw his weight around.  I will also remember him for mixing it up and not backing down from Jeremy Robinson of Eisenhower in last year's sectional at Mt. Zion. 

Looking forward to a great year in the SLIAC!  I am hoping the Highlanders can get it going in the right direction this season under ShaCreal.  Nice recruiting class and a good mix of veterans could be a positive!
