Yes, Smith was held to one point last year with Tice guarding her. Not sure MSMC has a player this year that can hold her to a point tonight.
MSMC has played more zone defense than in the past. But this game is a big measuring stick for both teams as last year MSMC won 60-44

MSMC Women came out with great defense against Emmanuel last night. They held the saints to nineteen first half points on 9 of 32 attempts and held a 48-27 rebound edge for the game. Going into the game Emmanuel led the country in assists per game, but MSMC held the edge there to at 19-15.

Big test tonight, I think Bowdoin comes into tonight's game with a 14-1 home court record in the NCAA's

Can only think that MSMC officials did not want to be considered to host the first and second rounds. Both Kean (No.1 in region)and William Paterson (No.3 in region) are hosting, while MSMC (No. 2 in region) will travel 350 miles.  And many parents live 100-150 miles south of MSMC making it a very difficult trip for them.

can the NJAC get three in?

If Rutgers-Newark upsets William Paterson in the NJAC finals, can the NJAC get all three in?

I would love to have Mount St. Mary in the LEC.  Give them a better conference to prepare themselves for the NCAA (they could probably beat at least half of the Syline teams playing their bench) plus West Conn could actually get a decent road trip to a conference team.

Sounds good how do we make it happen! At least if they make it an annual non-conference game. They had a great battle earlier this year, in a game that could have gone either way. Tice and Teal had a nice individual battle to, Teal couldnt stop Tice driving in the first half and Tice couldnt stop Teal in the post in the second half with each finishing with 19 points.
