Some of you Cardinal fans are already looking ahead to the Stagg Bowl. I'm sure Aesop has a few fables dealing with folly like that. Odds are that cardinal and grey will be the new purple.

Question: If the Mules were ranked higher than Salisbury how did the Sea Gulls get a top seed ahead of MC?

The Mules are firing on all cylinders so far in the playoffs. This is the first time any team has thrown two shutouts in the first 2 rounds of the D3 playoffs. This is probably the Mules best year since they won the mythical small college national championship in 1946 by defeating St. Bonaventure in the Tobacco Bowl. https://www.mcall.com/news/mc-xpm-2006-12-14-3695186-story.html
Saturday's game against Salisbury should be a wang dang doodle!

Sadly, this board lost it's mojo a few years back. We had some nice reparte going but all of those fans have left the boards so I check in once or twice a season to see if there is any activity. It is great to see such good will from you Purple Raiders fans and to see some posts here for a change. I just hope the Mules give you guys a run for the money.
I live in Texas now. It would be a mind bowing miracle if we made it to the Stagg Bowl. I might show up no matter who is playing. Best of luck to the Mules and the Raiders and of course JHU too.

How crazy would it be if JHU and the Mules played in the semifinals? A looooooooong shot. But it might dispel the idea that the CC is a weak conference. WHat do you think the odds might be?

Good to see some activity on these boards!
Now, I've landed on my head several times as well so I am going to ask what is probably a dumb question. Now that Salisbury lost and is a 2 loss team, how does that affect the Mules chances in getting the at large bid? Saying that they defeat the Greyhounds, of course.

On paper, Moravian should beat the Mules. The Greyhounds are having a great year. Kudos to them but I can't bring myself to vote against the Mules in our rivalry game.

Buffering is the bane of my enjoyment of the Mules' games.
So much buffering that I need a handful of Bufferin to get rid of the headache.
Do they still make Bufferin?
From now on, I'll try my phone first. Don't kids ever play outside anymore?

I didn't get my picks in last week as I was on vacation in Texas. While sitting for a couple of hours at the Austin airport I followed the video link at D3.com to the Gettysburg feed and watched the Mules put it all together. I couldn't believe the quality of the feed on my old iPhone 4! I am not sure whether it was the quality of Gettysburg's technology or that fact that I didn't have to share broadband with my landlord's 2 teenage girls. Grateful to watch the entire second half. Thank you Gettysburg audio visual folks.

Hi Old Ends, Great to have you back. I hope the great grand baby is thriving. Congrats. Appreciate the links you send us.
I like to look at the stats too. Later in the season I like to go to the NCAA website and compare the CC teams and players with the national D3 leaders.
All the best!

Greetings from the left coast.
It is actually raining this morning, a blessing to us.
I watched part of the Mules/Dips game. Two missed conversions by the Mules and a lot of persistence by the Dips made the difference.
