I played for Coach Heimann for three years.  He was a great person that truly cared about everyone he met.  A sad day here at Knox College.

Tough loss for Lawrence yesterday, but congrats on a nice run at the end of the season.  On a sad note, I know a lot of people weren't fans of former Knox coach Tim Heimann, but keep him in your thoughts and prayers.  He has been battling esophageal cancer for the past year and doctors thought he had it beat.  However, recently they discovered it had spread throughout his body, and there are no longer any treatment options.  They have given him weeks to live.  Don't know if this has been mentioned or not but thought I would let you guys know.

As much as I hate to talk about Monmouth , CMU is actually a very good D2 program.  They are picked second in a tough conference.  The team picked first, Southwest Baptist, already defeated Utah this year.  Yeah, Western must really be awful, Eureka hung with them last night.  Ouch.  I wonder if they will win a regular season game this year?

New poster here!  Knox fan and former player.  Heard from former teammate that they lost to Dubuque by 15-20 points.  Don't know the exact number.  Sounds like a combination of youth and shots not falling did them in.  Moore and Goedeke, two starters, scored zero apiece.  Luckily, it's early.  Still expect them to make some noise this year!
