ATTENTION Widener video crew: A fake punt up 51-10 in the 3rd is not classless, so stop shouting it. This game has become practice! Who's fault is it that this is a practice: Widener's. Mount still needs work for next week. What a whiney group calling the game for Widener.

And another thing: the game isn't over. Widener is still playing!

So we're they saying their team was classless winning a game 90-0? I'm guessing no.

If you saw the NFL Network game on Thanksgiving, you saw JCU alum Josh McDaniels drop a couple R rated words.  Strangely, it was on a replay of a pep talk he was giving...so not only did the language not get dumped on the delay, but someone, somewhere chose to play a clip with McDaniels dropping the MF bomb on television.  It was wild.

Is that any way for a Carroll man to talk?

Classy move by the Montclair coach who opened the press box window as Fischer lay on the field to yell "<bleeping> cheapshot you scumbag." He went on to drop a few more f-bombs and "converse" with the Mount fans on that side. Way to keep your cool...

No respect for Super Bowl III and Weeb Ewbank?

SOT asked a reasonable question, which seems to be asked every year at this time. Mount Union is in the Finals again. They won their semifinal game by 24 points, and they seem to be at least 24 points better than any other team in D3 with maybe the exception of UWW.

It is a legitimate question, but when you follow it with "With MUC dominating year after year you would have the think those ideas have been floating around" it smacks of the old "can't beat them, move them up a Division" argument. I bet people once clamored to get Augustana out of D3, and now look at them.

I don't know; Kehres doesn't have a great record against opposing coaches with a higher career winning percentage...

What would be the circumstances that a team would move up divisions? With MUC dominating year after year you would have the think those ideas have been floating around.

I wondered how long it would take this topic to come up this week. I look forward to rehashing it again in January.

I'll be there tomorrow again...probably at the half.

Pretty soon you'll just roll to the Hood straight from the pre-game brunch.

Not really. I guess I just assumed that a team that wins as much as Mount Union would have been able handle winning a little better than it did that day.

Handle it a little better? They kicked field goals on 1st down 3 times and had a punt returner step out of bounds at the 10-yard line instead going in for a touchdown. What more can a coach do when the 3rd string fullback up the middle call can't be stopped?
