No. The score was not indicative of what really happened in the game. Macon handled the Tigers today. The Tigers really only started to click in the 4th Q. Too much playing catch up. 5 in a row is embarrassing. Pedro isn't going to let up either, knowing the lashings that the Tigers gave him in his early years as the HC. Things will continue the way they're going until changes are made.

The Tigers defense can't stop Averett. This could get ugly real quick.

Looks like Marty just got out Marty-ed. The Tigers look like a shell of their old selves. Looks to be a long season after the showing in Danville. The boys need to shape up quick before going 0-2 after the CNU game.

Algernon - The Tigers are tied for 3rd place with Guilford and the Royals of EMU who are coming to Farmville this Saturday. RMC is in first by themselves and VWC holds 2nd all by themselves as well.
Mike, you may have missed the joke. The lead article had this today:
No. 16 Randolph-Macon went on the road and handled archrival Hampden-Sydney, 77-55. Mike Silverthorn scored 17 points in his first collegiate start, including five three-pointers. The Tigers (12-2, 5-0 ODAC) remain alone in first in the conference, one game in front of No. 8 Virginia Wesleyan, which beat Shenandoah, 76-68. Eastern Mennonite had a late 10-0 run to take a 68-58 lead and went on to defeat local rival Bridgewater 77-67
Ah, yes. I didn't read the D3Hoops article. After the shellacking the Tigers took last night, I was staying away from any articles that might have been written.

ahhh..... you were saying Algernon?
.....ASS WHOOPING in YOUR HOUSE!!I EXPECT MORE from you guys.... especially in your own gym!!....Im glad I'm not with my HSC friends now for the 2 hr ride home....one of 'em is a Circuit Court Judge.... it would have been a quiet ride!! I hope you get it together.... the ODAC is a lot better off with y'all stronger! !Not rubbing it in.... just an observation.... Dee Vick needs to step it up a notch or two!!
Agreed. That was embarrassing. RMC outplayed and coached the Tigers yet AGAIN. You could sense the energy and intensity with the yellow jackets tonight. They wanted to win and they showed it. The Tigers haven't had passion for a while...no boxing out on free throws, no following shots, hands are down low and not in the faces of the other players, and they just flat-out look sluggish. Our coaches need to light fires under the asses of our players. Now that the second semester is here, that means the guts of the schedule is too and if the Tigers want to get a good seed in the tournament, they need some fire. Man, I could go on and on but I think it's time for a bourbon drink...or six...teen.

Holton Walker did have a concussion and Johnny Moore hurt his ankle pretty bad - may have torn some ligaments from what I hear. That's #1 on offense and #1 on defense to go out. Not good for the Tigers. TFA probably has a little better scoop on the boys!

Yes. Sweet Baby Jesus. You can snag that at the Grand Prix right outside campus, Scots. You still make your way around these parts?

Doesn't TMC have 2 loses ? If so, why would E&H be blocked by TMC ?
Because the Regional Ranking Committee has TMC at 8 and E&H is unranked. TMC's two losses are to undefeated Wesley (regional ranking 1) and undefeated W&J (regional ranking 4). Both of those teams are ranked well above HSC, Regional Rank 9. So TMC's resume is pretty good. TMC is also done for the year, and Guilford is not Regionally Ranked. So E&H with a win won't really help their resume much versus TMC.
Thus, leading to any ODAC team making a trip in the first round. Bummer!

You don't have to tell me that. I keep telling the guys to play the game this weekend and not the one after it. Doesn't seem to sink in.

JK,
Either you've had history writing about sports (W&L newspaper, maybe?) or it's just the W&L ejukashun, but I've enjoyed your predictions over the past couple of years. Thanks for the thoughts.

You're right, superfan. Nash is probably the best QB in D3 and one of the best in ODAC history but I don't think things are going to get any easier once he graduates. There will still be a deep receiving crew as well as a pretty solid QB in either Edgar Moore or Kyle Farlow. Everyone knows Marty loves his QBs. In all of his opportunities, Moore has done what he needed to do. Of course we don't want to see Nash graduate, but when he does, we'll be ok...not at the same level, but we'll be ok.

Holton Walker TD pass to Nash Nance...yes, you heard that correctly. Walker to Nance. Tigers are up 21-3 in the 2Q.
