I beg to differ with KnightSlappy.   I was in Wheaton gymnasium in 2005 when Dan Aultman hit a terrific shot so that Calvin could continue on to the historic Kresge gymnasium at Albion College . . .and eventually the Final Four.  :)

The public silence surrounding Peter Bunn ends.

I hope people understand now why people were less willing to share what they did or did not know about what was going on.

. . . and our thoughts and prayers continue to be with him and his family.

Anyone know what Bunn's injury is/was? Any insight as to why it remained an undisclosed injury?

I assume that this is per the wishes of the player, family and college.  We all need to respect that . . . it's not our story to tell.

Malone University, coached by Tim Walker (former Calvin assistant) will play in the Hope Holiday tournament (DeVette Classic?) December 29 & 30.  His team is off to a great start with only 2 losses I believe.

Anyone have an update on where Chris Fear may have landed, now that Dana closed down?

He is the assistant men's basketball coach at Midland Lutheran College - Nebraska.

I realize there isn't much to talk about with it being the summer but can we switch to World Cup soccer or baseball or something to ease our minds?

It would be highly entertaining (and unlikely) that any of these dear people know much about World Cup soccer (and what you hear on SportsCenter and Mike & Mike in the Morning does not count).

It is not nonsense.

Suggestion to replace GVW:   Brian Van Haaften, Buena Vista, Storm Lake, IA.
Played at Northwestern College when Dr. Bultman was President at that institution.

I am interested to know how often Wheaton has gotten to the Final Four and what place they finished when they did so.

I am pretty sure that Jon will return to Holland if only to watch his sister play outstanding basketball.
