The power of google and I answer my own question - he scored 43...and remember youngsters, that was against a Bo Ryan coached Platteville team.

Melvin Brown's 47 points against the Pioneers  last night broke the program's single game scoring record of 45 set by Scotty Tyler (vs Ripon) in 2016.  Brown was 18 of 26 including 4 of 4 from beyond the arc and 7 of 9 from the charity stripe.  Brown also pulled down 12 rebounds for his third double-double of the season.

Where does Eric Burdett (sp?) rank? He had a game for ages back in the late 90's in the NCAA tournament against Platteville. I think it was at Platteville too.

Congrats to the UWO Titans on a great run. I hope you know alumni far and wide are proud!

And Gregory Sager...what a fine memory you have! I've always enjoyed your perspective and historical knowledge. I still lurk from time to time during the season to keep up with the WIAC, once a basketball junkie, always a basketball junkie.

Congrats WW.

Okay WIAC and NCAA DIII historians -  who else has won the National Title without being a regular season or conference tournament champion?

Seems like it would be an extremely rare feat.

The Waukesha West head varsity position is open and they have some solid young players coming up.

From hoops guru Mark Miller... Schultz immediately becomes a leading candidate to replace Basile as the Wolverines' next head coach.
